Even though I am unlikely to ever approach a job like this, I find it incredibly enlightening to see how a skilled craftsman approaches total fabrication of a complex project like this. Some of it appears to be "fabricate, fit, see if it works, if not, then dismantle, re-fabricate and try again". Incredible patience. Your editing greatly simplifies all the work you are actually doing. Impressive. Still avidly following...

Yes, I have been thinking of if for some time, convinced it was a very big job, but looking closer it was almost a quick fix.

That is suck a cool looking engine, and it looks absolutely awesome on the mower. I can't wait to hear it start up. I bet you're glad to be done with the repetitive steps (fitting out the pistons, rods, valves, pushrods, etc. That gets boring by about the 3rd cylinder).
@Desmouffe

Yes, but the result gets better and better. So when I did the last cylinder I almost wanted to redo the first. But I stopped there...

An idea for a water pump, i know you run a 12v system. And instead of the complicated mechanical water pump adoption, prehaps use a VW circulation pump, these are 16mm od outlets, 12v and small amps, they are designed to circulate coolant well. Prehaps a easy fit? Excellent work and progress, i really enjoy your logical thinking and excellent thought to practice ratio. My favourite garage builder, always enjoy your videos. Can not wait to hear this again, it will mark you victory and success in your thoughts!

I have ordered an electric waterpump and it's on its way. I hope it will be enough. There are so many things that can go wrong here. I'm just closing my eyes and trying to come out on the other side alive...

@@Desmouffe youll get there, problem solving is strong in your department. More so thermal operation, is more my thoughts. How to control temperature. But look forward to your next video!
@Desmouffe
@Desmouffe 7 ай бұрын
@@emdae921 In a traditional car engine you have a thermostat that controls the flow. I'm going to have full flow all the time and control the fan. There was an electrical thermostat on the radiator but I have checked it and it activate at 90 - 95 dgreas C. So I'm going to change it to 60-70 dgr C.
@teolynx3805
@teolynx3805 7 ай бұрын
@@Desmouffeyou can control the pump too and it'll affect temperature. For example after a cold start the pump could be shut off until the engine warms up to make the process faster and by throttling the pump you can regulate engine temp when needed.
@Desmouffe
@Desmouffe 7 ай бұрын
@@teolynx3805 Yes , there are many ways to do that. I will first try to have a working engine again. Then I can refine the cooling.
