From my experience with pkm hg/ss & pkm b/w2, its hundred times better. No common graphical glitches, no flash after enter houses, no black dots etc. Also I like the hybrid setup alot. I enjoy the "pixelated art" of nds so I havent try the upscaling yet but I think its the same as desmume

It's way more light weight than desmume to me. cpu usage decreased from 38 percent (desmume) to 26 percent (melon ds).

Is there a way to change the savestate key bind? I'd like to map it to my controller so I don't have to reach for the keyboard all the time. I haven't found an option for that in the hotkey settings. Thanks for the video!! DeSmuME does have that option.

Yes you don't need them but with them it makes it better. Some emulators required them to play but for this emulator you don't need them

It displays as two screens and you can use the mouse

@@Squishmallows24 You can use both, it's not ideal but it's easy enough. You'd need to take a hand off the DS to use the touch screen anyway so it's not too jarring.

Having the same issues. Me and my brother are playing digimon dawn and dusk at the same time. His saving went without issue, as for me my game didn't save but im using save state and it seems to be working as of now.
