Kim, I never really thought about studying the Psalms, but I have been inspired by your teaching. As you were teaching, I realized that the Psalms can minister to our emotional pains when we cling to the Lord. They reveal that God is always with us in the difficult situations we encounter and is healing and strengthening us in the process. We usually run to friends or others for emotional support but now we know it's also available in his grace through Psalms. Thank you for your gifts and encouragement.

hi my name is Ruth I am 19 years old I have been a Christian all my life but I have never been close to him until now because I have that verse in my head Psalms 18:2 because I was going through some hard times and like you said instead of getting closer I kept taking steps back but he showed me that he is my friend my father and the number one person that will always be there for me

I see you have a gift of teaching that is awesome!! But most of all that was much help for me, I have been going though so much and DESPERATE IS HOW I BEEN FEELING see my problem is I was in the word strong for 4year preaching his word and I fail off for 4 years and I'm having the hardest time get back where I need to be, I have allowed the enemy to come in my home and cause all kind of issues!! 5 year ago I could walk on that mess and use it as a stepping stone to get closer to God, now I feel LOST and my study habits are poor now I don't know where to go or where to begain in the word because of the desperation of needing a relief. I thank you for posting such a teaching because. It does give me a start. And it was conformation. Thanks again GOD bless you. Oh one more thing PLEASE PRAY WITH ME I NEED THE STRENGTH TO MAKE IT BACK!!!

I so appreciate your transparency and am lifting you up even now. As Psalm 18 tells us, God is our strength, and He is able to build you back up and draw you to an even closer relationship with Him. Your desperation is a bridge to that closer relationship. I encourage you to keep pressing forward and, as David did, cry to the LORD God for help…He is so faithful to hear our cries and respond!

This is the next series I’m doing, while I have learned and continue to cling I have to be fully transparent while I’m building and creating this lifestyle of intimacy with God. DESPERATE stood out to me bc while I’m desperate for God I’m also in some situations of desperation in the natural. So thanks to the KZbin algorithm I’m here in 2021. I enjoyed the breakdown of Psalms 18, it’s the first chapter I’ve EVER highlighted and written in in my Bible (I normally take notes on my phone or another paper) but I had to get in there to underline/highlight/dissect. I even invited a friend to join me. God is doing a new thing in me & I’m so excited to have found ALL of your content. 🙌🏾❤️
