Picked up that on all 3 toons, 10 days ago (Sun). LOL. 3 Thunderlords, etc. Took screenies of toons in this armor, then broke it down. Logged in 3 days later (Wed), and all my toons are wiped. exotics, Artifice, everything.

I finally gave all my characters 10 loadouts with fashion and man it feels really nice. Especially now that you can just buy the stasis aspects and fragments for glimmer (yeah, go do that if you haven’t) and with these new changes with Into the Light and Final Shape, I’m going to advocate to anyone I can to make all 3 classes.

Honestly I used to have all three classes caught up to the absolute max light with all quests completed during Season of the Haunted and it was so miserable I stopped having fun. I deleted my Titan and Hunter and now I play one class which is a warlock and after taking a break from Haunted until now, I’ve never had this much fun completing quests and doing the new event on just one singular character. Repeating content for any casual player is just a slap in the face for what they’ve already accomplished

For anyone who doesn’t play the other two classes regularly, and want armor with good stats: you can just pull the armor from the season pass once you’ve unlocked them on your account. There’s a set for each class, and generally the stat split on them are pretty good. High overall numbers. Somewhat spikey. Good enough that you can play that character whenever you want if you’re not trying to be an ultra-sweat lord about the stats.

Honestly, it's better to just farm engrams from whatever the seasonal vendor is and focus engrams on the class you need them on. It's easy to get well rolled armor.

1) season of the witch armor set from the season pass is LOADED stat wise. I'm a titan main that now has a lock that's like 2 to 3 weeks old tops right now. I used the season pass pass extension thing to go back to grab whatever gear I could (mainly for transmog options)...but quickly found that the season of the witch gear on that pass dropped SUPER hot stat wise. No idea why either, lol. Most of my loadouts I have 90 resil, 90 recov, & 70 disc. I didn't even have to farm any of it, lol. 2) Lost sector farming for exotics is NOT the play at all imo. Ever since they added world drop weapons to those loot pools, you get weapon drops basically 75% of the times that you clear them. & even higher if you do the harder version. IF you can find a bot or app that keeps track of Vex Incursions on Neomuna...that is a FAR superior & less effort method of farming exotics that you don't currently own. ALSO...that world event WILL drop the latest exotics locked behind the paid expansion campaigns as well.

Focusing engrams drops the highest stat non-artifice armor, from the War Table or seasonal vendors. The lost sectors on higher difficulty are much quicker than waiting for Vex Incursions and doing Vex Incursions. You can finish some of them in under 5 minutes per run, which equals a lot more exotics dropped.

I've been playing Hunter since D1 beta, I'm in the top 20 percent of players in just sheer time spent in the game. All this time I've only had one character. I still don't think I'll have the time or energy to boot up a Titan or Warlock. I love Destiny but god damn I'm barely able to keep up with the one I have these days.

I will say, unlocking all of the Strand aspects does in fact suck. Largely because the strand currency only drops on classes who have not unlocked everything and if you don't play your alt often as strand it is in a grind. Hopefully, they switch it to glimmer for beyond light.

I literally just moved random power capped weapons from my highest leveled character to my lowest and infuse them, then I can decode some engrams and get drops and they’ll be significantly better. I never had a problem with leveling other characters up.

If you have 1 character but a ton of shards then turning shards into glimmer to unlock all of the light subclass things for the other two chargers characters is a great use of shards before they get yeeted

To be honest, playing a raid on multiple class is a lot more rewarding, than REPLAYING the story. It's under extreme conditions, and having a good raid team it starts to really click. When you solo and you unlock fragments.... IT'S SUCH A GRIND! But if it's a guy yelling at you, "WARD OF DAWN NOW!" It clicks better.... of course a good raid team and not someone who yells at everyone, "Lets wipe, we didn't one phase him."

​​@@dec3142 Thats because mechanically they're different. Dont hold the titan jump the whole time. You're supposed to pulse it on and off. Its why warlock jump kills us, we keep turning it on and off out of muscle memory and it just drops the player to the ground.

It takes time to get used to but once you do, Warlock's jump is one of the best. You have to tap the jump button a lot.. and only use Strafe glide.

I maintain the thought that life is more whole with novel experiences and while new characters make that possible for some it is not the same as a new game. Life's too short I can't commit that much time to a single release.

This is an odd one to me - they're making bringing your other characters up easier, so grind them out why it's still hard right now? Why not just grind up your main, then vault items for infusion on your other characters/ play those characters later when there isn't near as many obstacles?

I really tried to keep all three up to speed. But as a new player, needing to do the beyond light and lightfall campaigns 2x each and unlocking all the class items, it became too much of a chore. You have to have no life, except maybe your job is to play this game 9-5 as a content creator, or be a bored vetran who's been playing since launch. Also, if your like me, I'd rather have fun with one character, then move on to a new game.

Considering that weapons, materials, mods, season pass, seasonal artifact, and guardian rank all transfer between classes, it's pretty easy to level up. Only missing portions of your kit are armor, exotic armor, and subclasses. The light subclasses can just be bought for glimmer, and are all prefectly viable and even dominant for most pve activities. You get free armor from gift of the thunder gods and from season pass to boost yourself up. Just show up to xur each week to pick up new exotic armor and you're good to go, without having to shoot a single bullet.

Unfortunately, this is all to draw players back which of course is a smart business move. However, with the talk of D3 etc. this is all just a move to make the community happy before telling us to pre-order the next game. They have shown they have no future plans for D2.

On leveling your alts, this used to be pretty simple. You could infuse gear from any class into the same gear on another class, in the time before. I'm still a little bitter about Bungie's history of making things more grindy for the sake of extending engagement and wasting our time. I do forgive, but I don't forget.
