They missed a huge opportunity to bring out vaulted raid weapons or black armory weapons for this event. Majority of players have these weapons aswell as the armor set from just playing regular playlist. They should of brought back weapons that are literally no longer able to be attained.

For those people trying to get the old raid weapons, but don't like raiding. Look up a guide on the first secret chest in vow of the disciple. If you defeat the abominations, and ignore the knowledge drops, you can get to the chest. You can do this on all 3 characters each week solo for 15 spoils

there are 5-6 checkpoint bots on twitch that will take you to all the free raid chests for 5 spoils each. you can get around 50 per character each week.

I think having an event with limits limits how long your players will play. Obtain 8 tokens, players leave...no reason to continue playing event if there is no reward. Purpose: Incentives new players to get in and get cool weapons and stuff so they can potentially end up in the Eververse pipeline. Issue: Player count is at an all time low, and there's barely new people coming in and many veteran players are flat out uninstalling. What they should've included: Weapons like Trophy Hunter, No Feelings, Praetorian Foil, Ringing Nail, An armor set from a sunset raid, a few trials of the IX weapons, and Weapon Harmonizers. I pretty much only care to get Chatterwhite. Maybe Igneous or Horrors Least but I don't care that much.

@@jatochgaatjeniksaan3307 There's a surprising number of people who create posts advertising friendliness only to be super rude and toxic or even kick you at the end of the activity you join them in before you get the loot, between raids, grandmasters and other activities. LFG is in a state where you either get a great experience, or an experience that wastes all of your time and kinda destroys morale a bit. I'm personally in the same boat of disliking using LFG because of how purely unreliable it can be and how toxic players can be. Just makes it very hard to get into raiding as a first-timer.

The problem with these things, half the time it wants players to do stuff that is boring, like play normal strikes, or go to a planet and kill stuff with a certain gun. Why don’t they just allow players to run the things they enjoy to get these rewards, such as raids, gms, dungeons, and PvP? I don’t usually do them because I’m not going to be bothered to do stuff that I don’t find enjoyable. If bungie wants this game to last, they need to change the system so that players get to decide how they want to grind for these rewards, so that the players can choose to play what they enjoy. They’ll still want/need to reward playing new content too, gets people playing it, but repetitive seasonal events with minor tweaks are not new content.

If they want to do more events like this and Riven’s Wishes, there shouldn’t be a limit to how many tokens we can earn. Since they said the last ‘few’ weeks, just let us farm as many as we can and get whatever rewards we want. If there is a limit to the tokens, then I think it’s gonna turn players away from participating. Not much point to getting materials when a GM can get you a good handful without having to do a quest for them.

Yeah, most of them have relented and started making the "doomer Destiny content" we all know and love even though we all play to unhealthy extents. Just from an honest practicality standpoint, it's very close to truly over. I don't even know for sure if I want it to end or not... Kind of apathetic at this point. Even after 10 great years. I just think it's time. Episodes haven't been cookin all that well, seasonal events are atrocious and copy pasted, devs are clearly so low staffed that while I'm sure they're trying very very hard it's simply just not worthwhile or as enticing. Universal ornaments that cost money and new exotics... To use on WHAT? I played around with Slayer's Fang and had a blast for about two play sessions... Maxed out season pass and did all the memes. Now I'm bored af. Couldn't even try to pretend I was having fun. Hurts bc my buddies don't play anymore or really chime in on the group chat about trying to accomplish anything in game. Not even "hey do you wanna run rituals/nightfalls?" Just no incentive or purpose or reason really at this point. @@lordgrub12345 me lol. Cool if u don’t, but you’ve clearly missed the plot. It doesn’t matter if people “care” about an event. It’s about content getting removed and getting told excuses justifying it. You might not care about crimson days but you should care when content is removed. Btw we lost more than just crimson days. Half of the games story and destinations are gone too. Lots of people miss srl, lots of people miss crimson days, lots of people miss forsaken, red war, io, mercury, mars, tangled shore, etc. Point is no one likes getting things they like removed. And you justify it because it wasn’t something you cared about makes you no different than bungie. Pray you never get something you loved about the game removed. 🙏

@@SepticEmpire The top video is "the worst event in destiny's history". Making an event people don't like is a wasted of resources they could be using for the rest of the game. It isn't "removing an event", it's "not wasting resources for no reason".

@@lordgrub12345 brother I’m not gonna lie. Bungie has wasted its resources for years. Everything is a waste of resources if you don’t listen to your players. Heck a pretty large majority saw episode 1 as a complete waste. Not everyone likes everything but removing things ain’t the way. Especially when gambit exists. I love gambit but the majority hate it yet they could totally spare resources to make it more loved or even just more enjoyable for those who like that mode, which is kinda the point. But who am I kidding, bungie abandoned PvP for years because of “resources” and “not enough people play it”. I really doubt a week long event is really taking up THAT much resources. Especially when every event in destiny is just rehashed content with new weapon rolls. And in a time where bungie is starving for player retention, adding crimson days and even srl would be pretty impactful alone with all the other things players have been wanting for years. If you ask me, the reason they have lost so many players is because of their resource cost mentality. That’s even their excuse for why they sunset half the game.

@SepticEmpire I completely agree, I miss IO, Mars, the infinite forest (which they could have done some great things with.) I miss the leviathan raid. This game sucks ass for no reason, as if it’s that hard to just keep content, or rotate planets/raids or something. So shameful

I am a solo player and have only been playing less than a year, so i guess that quest about completing a dungeon or raid won't get completed. I'm looking forward to everything else, though.

I imagine that if we are only going to earn 8 tokens, the best thing to do is to choose a character (in my case it will be my Titan) and get at least two pieces of Artifice Armor that you don't have yet, in my case it would be all the pieces except the greaves. And then get the adept weapons from Trials of Osisris depending on the roll they came from, because I imagine the rolls are fixed, and then spend the rest on Spoils of Conquest to try to get Anarchy. I imagine that this is the best way to do it with the 8 tokens that we will have.

@@CorvoCrowzZ with the upcoming changes they are making to armor here pretty soon, I don’t think it’s wise to get the artifice armor. At the launch of heresy/ frontiers at the end of act 3, bungie is reworking armor to only have 3 stat categories and by extension, our characters as well.
