I would love it if they actually brought him back with that very same cutscene... sans the robotic modulation on his voice lol. I don't know about actually becoming the hunter vanguard. I think Uldren would be met with a lot of opposition in actually having such a position. I think he could be an ALLY, to be sure, but Idk about actually holding the vanguard position. I feel like Ikora and Zavala are still feeling Cayde's loss and that could get in the way. Either way, I hope Bungie gives his character a good arc. I feel like it could be some of the most interesting character development in Destiny history (which isn't saying much cause characters in Destiny are for the most part very static) and to do otherwise would be, as you said, a "BIG MISS." I think it's certainly possible that we'll see him in the Cosmodrome. All the pieces are there and it's entirely up to Bungie to move em into place. Looking ahead a bit more... I've consdered the possibility that they'll be getting rid of the Dreaming City and Tangled Shore sometime down the line during The Witch Queen expansion cycle. I think that, if we're going to see Uldren's character shine, it's going to be in that DLC, as I believe that's where they'll bring the Curse storyline to a resolution. Savathun has really fucked with the Awoken so I imagine that Uldren could be a major player in this expansion.

I have been hoping for this too! For some elements of the original story to be slowly introduced into the game. Would be cool if his character was introduced into the Tower, in a similar manner to Saint-14. We go to the Cosmodrome and encounter Uldren and this cutscene plays. He is no longer Uldren and refers to himself as The Crow, perhaps because something he found on his person when he was revived referred to the Crows or him being the Master of Crows.

I can imagine the entire community of Destiny and the people of the City hating on him for his past life in the game, Guardians included. Oh gosh, imagine Ikora and Zavala's faces when they see that he's a Guardian now. But the way I see it, he has paid for his crimes and now has a clean slate, so there's no reason to try to kill him again, or hating him.

I think it would be cool if you could randomly encounter him in the cosmodrome where you question how or why he’s here and most importantly how he’s not dead. Your character would eventually teach him about the world and what it’s like to be a guardian and over time your character would learn to forgive uldren for his actions especially since he didn’t have complete control over them.

Well, this is pretty posible, i mean,we are gettin 2 new destinations but i dont think the principal character will be the ones in them, cuz eris will be in the moon, drifter in the tower with gambit and i really doubt the exo stranger will be in one of the destinations. So, if my theory is correct, we will have variks in Europa and Uldren in the cosmodrome

I know it wont happen but what if each class had a diffrent city seen? Hunters would go and instantly go for a kill to find he is now a gardian. Warlocks would evaluate with no thought of fighting, but titans would have their gun out and at the ready.

0:55 You definitely misinterpreted that lore tab. He's somewhere outside of the Last City. How do we know this? It makes mention of him hearing gunshots in the distance. I don't think the firing of guns are common in the Last City but it would be out in the wilds if he's near a location where Guardians are known to frequently patrol, like the Cosmodrome or the EDZ... or even the Plaguelands. Hell, all three would have shipping containers he could lay low in for the night. Actually... same for Titan and Mars.

I know about the vanguard dare, and that uldren qualifies for the position because of it, but I don't think that anyone in the game would let him have that posistion. I still don't like old Uldren for what he did, but I know he doesn't remember anything of his past life now, so I won't hold it against the new Uldren. Just because he fulfilled the vanguard dare in his past life doesn't mean he should be the new hunter vanguard though. He is still a relatively new guardian with little experience as one (2 years of living like crap), and the vanguard needs to be seen as a competent force that people can follow. Most people won't forgive him and we don't need a leader most people don't trust.
