If you are on console, you can still game the movement system. You can do small jumps that ricochet you off the geometry. Its something you kinda get a feel for on the PvP maps by running around on them enough. Its not skating but on certain terrain, in a gunfight, you can learn to launch yourself in an unexpected angle at a very fast speed.

As a seriously hard core raider who founded a clan years ago and is now trying REALLY hard to improve his PvP, I gotta say all the stuff that I've learned in terms of movement has also helped me on the receiving end of that movement, Like, I now watch for situations that other players can use to their advantage to be ready for the things that would've caught me off guard when I only entered PvP for quests and such and when i just never bothered to learn. It's nice, if i see a warlock, for example, coming up stairs, I ready myself in case he flies my way at mac ten. I have learned to bait other players into doing these things as well, thanks to you guys and all the other youtubers and clanmates that have been helping me improve, i actually don't hate crucible as much as i used to, not my favorite as I'm a BIG raider, but it can actually be enjoyable now that I know how to clutch up.

Hey, just gotta say this. I started using the tips here yesterday and today. Here is my experience: Before: -usually was a fraction of a second slower in sniper duels -could hold my own with two enemies on radar, but couldn’t separate my engagements, and would lose the 2v1 - my pre aim was decent, but predictable. I wouldn’t listen to sounds or audio cues, nor pay attention to habits -i refused to swap off double primary because i felt that my build was the best i could do - i often would experience temperament decay during gaming sessions, causing my performance to slowly get worse After: - i am now faster to pull the trigger and get the kill in sniper duels by forcing baits and off angles, as well as being more intentional with pre aiming - i dedicated time to running around maps and just looking back and forth to learn how to read radar, and can now figure out much faster how to separate angles and take an engagement confidently in even 3v1 situations - rather than hard scoping lanes with my pre aiming, i now tend to approach engagements with the intention of finding my opponents on radar and on screen first, and then take the engagement with more confidence. I was able ti snipe several opponents who habitually icarus dashed the engagement or slid into it. - i learned that there are builds i haven’t looked at with more sincerity, and created a new build that is twice as effective as my previous one by adopting the fact that i can learn and grow as a player by experiencing new things and forcing myself to learn in hard situations -by forcing myself to look inward at my own skill and goals, rather than comparing myself to another player or letting myself feel the effects of losing, i continually told myself what i can improve on and replaying engagements in my head. I started to think outside the box and do things unexpectedly, i started to enjoy watching myself improve from where i was. I continually grew as a player and accepted that i’m not going to improve drastically fast, and forced myself to practice perfect instead of letting old habits govern my thoughts. Thank you for this wonderful collaboration, and the insightful comments that are not the usual “practice aiming, only use the meta, etc.” and the overwhelming feeling of pvp players just saying git gud m8. I learned a ton from this, and am seeing results from what i’ve put into practice. I haven’t subscribed quite yet (don’t even know why) but after this i finally did it. Such an informative and helpful member of the community!

In more than a few cases, you would ask Wallah a question and then begin to answer for him, offering your opinion about what the answer might be. Wallah then would react to what you said and not necessarily the question. A good interviewer gets out of the way and lets the interviewee speak to the subject, and while Wallah gave some very interesting answers to your questions, I feel like there were times where he had more to say and you cut him off. I pretty much main DMT in PvE and PvP these days and I play on Xbox. Its still extremely good there but there is more of a learning curve. Honestly surprised I don't see it more. It's not as point and click as it is on mnk. If you're hipfiring, you gotta get used to aiming just a tiiiny bit higher than you think. It's counterintuitive but the aim assist is still really really strong. Also you can't hipfire as far, so you have to know when to ADS or else you'll be firing blanks. Not like the gun is super weak in ADS either. Still very nasty with Salvager's there too. I pretty much don't swap my loadout between PvE and PvP except for the heavy. It's so good. It gets me kills and I'm not a great player by any means. So thank you and Wallah so much for making this, I love to hear how top players think about the game, and you two are some of my favorites to watch. I never played FPS growing up besides occasionally at a friend's house, so this is all stuff that doesn't just flow naturally for me like it does for so many creators and other players in the community. Gonna try to use some of this to get smarter about how I play for once lol
