as a new PvP player myself: -Turn off or lower the music -BE PATIENT (bring the bait to you, dont peek your head to the spider) -keep cool, every time you die think what actually killed you, apart from the bullet across your eyebrows, what DECISION killed you in that encounter.
@GamingHelp3 жыл бұрын
That music thing is super good advice. I'm pretty noise adverse (Health issues, blah blah) so I tend to normally have my volume very very low, but I've noticed that if I forget to turn up the game sound after my groups usual PVE stuff when I go to do crucible, it'll easily cut my ratio in half or more.

Just to add on- As a new player, join with teammates when killing. Don’t avoid 1v1s but try and help someone get a kill. This way you can become familiar with gunfights
@clues66443 жыл бұрын
While I respect the sentiment I can tell you after almost 4K hours ''be patient'' is far too situational to be considered definitively as good advice, its equally as bad as it is good depending on your engagement but as a new player I'd actually recommend starting off by committing to every gun fight because its more time spent in gunfights, more times practicing your movement, getting familiar with your abilities and more time to test which weapons suit you best, and as you do that you'll learn what engagements to take and what to wait on.

With the strategy I’ve developed through the years ive noticed how winnable situations are like for instance you’re getting pushed by a warlock never take a where they can get to cover instead take get some damage in then take a wide angle with an escape strategy once the dual is about to end ( W or L ) assuming it’s an L take that escape rout then hide behind cover once you see them on your radar at all crouch , that will give them the illusion that you ran away once they start to close in on your position always take an aerial angle or a crouching angle of attack, assuming that this player knows what they’re doing they will most likely have their crosshair on just a simple walking angle unless they are like one of the bearded cake boy ( cammy & patty cakes ) you will win that gun fight 9/10 with titans they will usually lead with an ability like a grenade or melee and typically don’t jump with them always take the aerial attack , with hunters they will almost always lead with a jump , take advantage of that and get them out of the sky In an easy for this all means Titans : jump high to win Warlocks: take an unconventional angle Hunters : bait out a jump

The counter to crosshair placement is to mix up how you move I personally mix how I turn corners all the time As a void warlock blink is my movement so I can either run, slide, jump or blink round the corner 4 different movements really throws people off even those who are more confident in things like their aim as being unpredictable only makes it harder on them Say if someone is confident in their judgement and you mix things up really heavy then if you hit their judgement hard enough they lose confidence It's especially helpful against snipers as they may take even a split second longer to take the shot when their confidence is lowered allowing you a bit more room to either finish them off or move to a better vantage point

@jaced84373 жыл бұрын
Idk if it'll help you, but does for me. Use a non meta weapon or fun loadout with the mentality that your going to lose. Use a "Last Stand" mind set, "I might lose but I'm going to take many of you down with me". Do this for awhile or here and there, try to apply this mental state you reach into your real preferred loadout. I use sweet buisness for this. Sorry if this doesn't help.

ngl the other dude is right. i became a struggler just wanting to win no matter what and ended up pulling off so many 1 v 3’s in comp and started gaining more game sense. i know it’s kinda vague but lowkey just fight as hard as you can and you’ll gain more game sense and experience. you’ll start realizing what is actually stopping you from getting that kill then you improve on that and keep repeating. practice makes perfect, i’m not the best but it improved my gameplay significantly in the end and now i’m unbroken, there was a time i thought it was impossible lmao. now i just need to work on fighting trials players lmao
@freezingdragon69883 жыл бұрын
Skill takes time. And not every game will be the best. Ego is difficult but that’s what can drive improvement as long as it isn’t too much ego. If you truly want to be good, fight hard, find the enjoyment, and be patient I suppose.
@BCThunderthud3 жыл бұрын
I suggest you normalize quitting, Destiny is not a game with a serious PvP scene so if after a minute or two you're not doing well quit, do this even if you're quitting 9 out of 10 matches, there's no reason to stay in a match you're losing ever.
@freezingdragon69883 жыл бұрын
@@BCThunderthud personally I disagree. Although it is casual and there’s no legitimate downside to quitting, it still promotes a quitters mentality into other things even if it’s different games. Also, if he wants to get good, staying in a losing game can show examples of what potential one could have for future play. Therefore they could get better by losing. Quitting halts any progress that could be made.
@KinesisXBL3 жыл бұрын

in a game that admits they use magnetic bullets and even build weapons to be damn near impossible to miss headshots with, i really think crouch spamming is just a waste of muscle energy and is actually hurting you by slowing your movement down. at any amount of range, that small amount of movement isn't taking their head out of your Crosshair. not enough for bullets not to track anyways.

Game sense is 100% the reason I ever got anyone with a thrown knife or grenade... Radar check, that's the lane, in the spot and off he goes... I wish it would happen more than once every 100 matches but hey feels great when it does happen.

I noticed that the crosshairs in these gameplay clips are all in the center of the screen, is there a way to change them to the center of your screen on console? Or is it locked in the bottom half

Sunsetting has begun! Only armor you got this season allows the new elemental mods.
