Tl;Dr -The radar lies, don't trust it -See red on the radar? Don't rush, stay next to cover. -You know sliding out of cover, now try sliding back into cover -"He's weak, push him" is a good way to get yourself killed out of cover. -switch weapons to assert dominance -in a 2v1 or 3v1, run and turn that 2v1into a 1v1v1 - when facing a sniper, remember that snipers never flinch, so don't try to flinch them -if the sniper is close, slide towards them if you can get them into your primary's effective range -sometimes a sniper just gets a lucky crit before you can even react. Accept it and move on. Everyone gets a lucky shot off every now and then.

@NightfallGemini4 жыл бұрын
@@UnderStasis They're changing how snipe flinch works in Beyond Light, but at the moment flinch tends to pop the sight up to your enemy's head when you're ADS, so if you learn how to game that with certain sticky snipes (rapid-fires, some adaptives i.e. Beloved) you can just nuke whoever engages you. Hey P.Cakes it would be super amazing if you could get Apathetic to agree to do another video just like this one but as a KZbin live stream. As I was watching the video there was a couple of times where i wanted to throw a question into the conversation you were having with Apathetic. It would so cool to have like an open class discussion like this with some of the best players in the game, my favorites players at least. It would probably have to be limited amount of people in the stream so ur not getting flooded with to many questions. Idk... I think the one thing that helps me up my k/D the most is this: You, for the most part, choose who, where, and when you fight. Keep that in mind. If you have a feeling you won't win the engagement, it's totally fine to turn tail and run instead of getting lit up by 3 guys that you thought were one on the radar. Sure you might lose a zone, but catching up with your team and taking one of theirs or team shooting the enemy could make or break a match. You choose your engagements. Not the other way around. Avoid sniper lanes, play with a sniper for a while to realize where those might be for future reference if need be. If someone is sitting around a corner, and you think sprinting around the corner to shotgun them is the optimal play, trust me, he's gonna kill you and the guy behind you. Just back up and change your angle. You'll get a kill. Once this falls into place, you're a lot more likely to win engagements cause you'll understand the flow of the map and your enemies better, and you can catch them by surprise most times. Had a game the other day where I put on not forgotten and bite of the fox with one eyed mask. Got 25 kills and a 6.25 k/D. And I loved every second of it. Instead of getting tilted at every death I was happy cause that meant I got more special for my sniper. Avoiding tilt is also very important. But that comes with time.

The biggest tip I have ever given people is to just look at the big picture. Too many people focus so much on their 1v1 that they forget what's happening around them. 1v1s should start coming naturally (to an extent) as you play more, which allows you to think where, when, and what is happening arround you. If you're having a bad day and you start complaining about your aim, you are no longer thinking, 'what are my teamtes doing,' 'where are the enemies spawning,' 'what is the enemy going to do in this situation,' you're just thinking about trying to hit your shots. Also, when it comes to what gun you should have out, apa touched on that perfectly! I'd say that a lot of it comes down to reading your opponent, but in a situation where you just don't know, its better to slide out with your shotty (since an enemy up close is much more of a danger than one far away), and slide back to cover if need be. One of the hardest scenarios is when, lets say, your enemy runs back into blue spawn like apa showed off, and you want to push the enemy before he kills your teamate, but you don't want to play it stupidly. Worst case scenario that happens often, is that I'll turn the corner wide in case they are baiting it with a shotgun, but they're actually straight lining my teamate. I just wasted a lot of time trying to be safe, and it ended up costing my teamates life. Circling back to that big picture idea, when you really stop and think, there is no win it that situation. The enemy is just stalling for his teamtes and trying to get a pick. You can either push him together and possiby risk a trade, or swiftly take the 3v2 in the enemies opposite spawn. By looking at the big picture, you'll contribute to your team much more and lower your chance of dying in an unexpected way.
