Arthur Duarte There literally isn't one. Each has their own strengths and weaknesses. Really good in one situation, maybe really bad in another. Look up some videos breaking down the subclasses of each class, and choose from there which class has the subclasses you overall like the most.

Titans come in handy with their bubbles, and strikers are decent for pop, and this is coming from a guy who uses a hunter

Warlock has self-res which is useful for yourself in PvE, Titans should use bubbles which are VERY useful for your team in PvE, And the Hunters have good PvP supers with golden gun and blade dancing and their bladedancing is very good for Crota too. Hopefully this helps you decide

Seems like the drop rate for Ciphers has been increased, me and my friends did three 34's today and on every Kaliks kill, a cipher was dropped. Two for one of my friends and then one for me and my other friend. Good stuff :3

You Datto are incorrect on two things. 1) the Summon stage of the bounty ALWAYS takes between 24 and 72 hours. 2) to get the Summoning step complete in 24 - 72 hours you MUST be active for the ENTIRE DURATION on THE ONE CHARACTER YOU RECEIVED IT ON! This will ensure you receive the bounty in 24-72 hours and not an extended duration. The bounty stage is scripting for 24-72 and no longer than that

Xerkxes yes a friend of mine got two elder cyphers from skolas last night, we did a level 32 afterwards and he got 2 queens ciphers at once from the chest at the end. the big question we dont know the answer to is whether you and others with 2 variks exotic bounties will be able to choose 2 different exotic weapons, or if the game will auto-select the same weapon.

If you got two elder ciphers one was an rng from this week and the other was from last week. Last week the cipher was bugged and it wouldn't give the bounty to some people. The reason you got 2 is because last week you got one but it didn't drop so this week when you beat the boss it gave it to you instead. You got some luck

I didn't get the Queens Cipher in the first chest after getting the Elder Cipher, I don't think its guarantee to drop from the first chest after receiving the Elder Cipher(after talking to Variks, of course).

That happened to me too! I can't choose anything at ALL, and Variks thinks i have the bounty but i don't! I completed the lvl 34 boss about 1 hour after the patch. Bungie can't just fucking say: "sorry, but if you forgot ti clear out you're bounty space, we're just too lazy to fix it. We could just give it to the postmaster or something, but we're just too lazy.." That's how Bungie is in they heads..

However, last night, we finished lvl34 and my bounties were full for IB. When we got back to the reef, Variks had the beginning of the bounty available, but I'm not able to choose a weapon. So, either the patch notes aren't right, Datto's interpretation isn't right, or there is a new bug. I'm leaning towards the last one. Sucks.

They are indeed very fun weapons to use. Not really that efficient though. Although I did not find sidearms in general efficient, the exotic sidearm is really the best of all three weapons in terms of efficiency. Using a 365 Vision of Confluence with it reminds me of the loadout I had on Battlefield 3. I found the shotgun to be one of those 4th Horseman types, and the rifle to just not be able to compete with fusion rifles or sniper rifles, but rather be its own class in a way. In the end, if you are looking forward to actually USE any of them, then I would recommend the sidearm. Use a scout rifle for that authentic match.

Hey Datto, please could you explain how acquiring Burn primaries from PoE works. I know they drop from Skolas but can you essentially 'farm' him each week or is it 1 kill 1 chance? Some clarification would be awesome. Also do yo think Bungie should add a Royal Judgements Chance to Variks, which costs 3 Weapon Cores, 3 Armour Cores and an Etheric Light for a Random chance at a burn Primary? I would chose either Lord of Wolves or Queensbreaker bow, the Dregs Promice isn't a good pvp weapon, you need to be in hugging distance to kill a player or enemy with it but with the LoW or QBB you can be at a longer distance to get a kill

So I killed Skolas yesterday AFTER the patch dropped & got the Elder Cipher but when I go to Variks it will not let me select a weapon. My bounties were NOT full at the time I got it to drop & I ended up wasting 2 treasure keys on pointless runs thinking that now that the bounty was activated I still needed to acquire the Queen's Cipher from an arena chest. The Elder Cipher bounty also does not show up in my bounty list. Any idea what's going on or help would be greatly appreciated !

OK, this seems to be a very common misconseption in the destiny community, but the Lord of Wolves actually has BETTER range than a rangefinder/feild choke/ hammerforged felwinter's lie! (It also fires pretty fast for a shotty) The only reason that stats on the gun show different is because it is considered a pulse rife. But trust me, PICK LoW!
