As someone that during the last 10 years has been mostly conservative, i tell you the answer is in the video, destiny nailed it perfectly on his rant about MAGAtrain politics. Conservatives living on a echo chamber is exactly the reason why Tucker Carlson not only is still around, but also the moment he gets fired from "neocon" Fox News he started thriving more than before. He just spouts the rhetoric the ever growing populist side of the ring wing WANTS to hear. If in any moment tucker decides to tone down the narratives he currently spreads, he's gonna face huge backlash in the same way Alex Jones is currently facing on Twitter for not agreeing with nazi historical revisionism (Alex Jones case is worst since he was always antifacist, so he didn't toned anything down, he just spoke his mind about the topic, but the anti establishment and neonazi audiences IRONICALLY tend to intermingle a lot ). To resume everything: Tucker Carlson is still around because he speaks the "unfortunate hard truths" people on the crazy side of the right wing want to hear, this side is unfortunately getting bigger the more they dig themselves into an echo chamber.

He has a spike in viewership from the Iran Missile thing but before that. @@LegiamasC-OnTwitta "The fundamental reason why a lot of paleontologists don't care much for gradualism is because the fossil record doesn't show gradual change and every paleontologist has known that ever since Cuvier. If you want to get around that you have to invoke the imperfection of the fossil record. Every paleontologist knows that most species don't change. That's bothersome if you are trained to believe that evolution ought to be gradual. In fact it virtually precludes your studying the very process you went into the school to study. Again, because you don't see it, that brings terrible distress." (Stephen J. Gould, Professor of paleontology from Harvard University, During the question and answer session following his Hobart and William Smith College lecture, Dr. Gould was asked if there was not Stratigraphic evidence indicating gradualism)

@@SetObserver03 gradualism : Phyletic gradualism is a model of evolution which theorizes that most speciation is slow, uniform and gradual. When evolution occurs in this mode, it is usually by the steady transformation of a whole species into a new one (through a process called anagenesis) Stephen J. Goulds own evolutionary thesis of punctuated equilibrium : punctuated equilibrium (also called punctuated equilibria) is a theory that proposes that once a species appears in the fossil record, the population will become stable, showing little evolutionary change for most of its geological history. This state of little or no morphological change is called stasis. When significant evolutionary change occurs, the theory proposes that it is generally restricted to rare and geologically rapid events of branching speciation called cladogenesis. Cladogenesis is the process by which a species splits into two distinct species, rather than one species gradually transforming into another. (source wikipedia) context matters, what is quoted is by no way a aversion to the fundamental evolutionary theory.

What Tucker Carlson says about evolution is just wrong! There are fossils that show that there is a tree of species. You can see how one species evolved into another species. And if we look at faster producing animals, evolution is clearly visible. Adaptation is just a fancy word for evolution. Or they would need to put limitations on adaptions, but as far as I know they don't, so it is actually the same as evolution.

What the fitness expert said about race was wrong. If I'm being charitable, he simply used the wrong words. He probably just meant that there are genetic differences between people. Race is a social construct. Race is determined ONLY by skin color! But skin color doesn't reflect our genes well. You can be dark and European. You may have white skin and be Middle Eastern or African. The genetic differences are regional! Another problem is the famous ancestral map. It is often poorly explained. These maps try to find clusters. Clusters are used to find categories in a set of values. The number of clusters depends on the resolution. If you use low resolution, they will all be in the same cluster. If you use high resolution, there will be too many clusters and the categories will become useless. There are different ways to determine the resolution. Let's assume you belong to the German group. Let's say there was a small African group that mixed with Germans. If you increase the resolution, the German group splits into pure Germans and Germans with African influence. So if you misunderstand clusters, you could say that the Germans with African influence are not real Germans. In reality you are always part of the parent group (the bigger cluster). That's why it's important to understand what clusters are! Next, these maps track the movements of people and show which groups inherited from which group. What I'm trying to say is that individual people can have very different genes. There are Swedes who look like Swedes with African genes. There are Africans who look like Africans with European genes. So race and genes don't always match. There are millions, if not billions, of genes, and most people share genes from very different regions.

Basically: In some cases, it is too much time and money to kick off a project, which then can bump into red tape at unpredictable times.

You can see Destiny's desperation and panic is starting to creep in as the election day is getting closer and Trump is winning in every polls. 😂 When you prefer an obvious senile guy over Trump for president you know you have at least a mild case of TDS...

Nothing can make me respect someone less than evolution denial. Tucker is King Larper, acting all religious. I’d be shocked if he were in church on any given Sunday, much less other holy days.

Well to be fair if Tucker Carlson went into a church he burst into flames being a ghoul & what not. That's just science But yeah religious larpers are extremely frustrating to the faithful.

@@AspiringDevil Therefore, evolution cannot be proven. .. Ha ... check mate!
@faketheo343217 күн бұрын
1. We do have fossils of them 2. Fossils are not the only evidence for evolution 3. Genetics can show evolutionary relationships between species. Comparisons of DNA and protein sequences across different species reveal patterns of similarity and divergence consistent with common ancestry. Phylogenetic analyses based on molecular data can reconstruct the evolutionary history of organisms and identify genetic changes associated with speciation events.

@@faketheo3432 you are correct shortly after typing that it occurred to me. We do not find bone fossils but we do have the imprints of them as fossils. Maybe this shows my age but in my school days we only talked about fossils in terms of how bones fossilized.

what is the context for the 10k hasan raid?
@newname440517 күн бұрын
The only context is that Hasan's numbers have been declining and he's been pretty focused on that fact, leaked DMs etc. show that people clowning on the decline in particular really gets to him, like when he was practically begging LSF to block threads making fun of his viewership. From what I understand he was, not that long ago, getting 30k+ on most days, but lately except for some news events causing an uptick here and there, has been more in the 10-15k range at best. Still very big numbers by most standards but knowing that he's so bothered by it makes it fun for people to make fun of. Seems like basically that chat comment was suggesting for him to have 10k would be more than usual by a large margin (so, exaggeration still obviously), would only happen if someone with a big audience just raided him giving him a boost. Judging by Hasan's reaction, it does indeed get under his skin just as intended, lol.

On the NPR thing, that article misidentifies when/what happened. NPR was on the path to media division way before Trump and it was the conservatives who started it. People back in 2009/2010 and especially the tea party was obsessed with smearing NPR as partisan and exaggerating their gov funding in order to cut funding to it. I think it took awhile but their audience started shifting away from conservatives back then and then there's a feedback loop, as conservative media attacked them, less conservative feedback from audiences received more positive feedback from liberal/left happened and it naturally shifted. I would bet in hiring they got far fewer if any conservative applications overtime and got far more left applications who then filtered into all positions. There's an argument that they should've seen this and been more careful to avoid this shift BUT it's hard to even say they could've avoided it. Additionally, NPR is in part media and art news outlet that focuses on newer and topical artists and this was always unappealing to conservatives who ceded new art and culture long ago.

Dr Mike's "race realism" is rather common in sports groups because of physiological differences between groups which makes them dominate certain sports and be better or worse in certain things. There is no denying of race in sports. It was big news when Su Bingtian became the first asian to break the 10 second barrier in the 100m, and the only non African to achieve sub 9.90 & 9.85. That field is so dominated by Africans that anyone beating or equaling them becomes history.
