To be fair it was probably in a pretty emotional moment for her I feel like destiny def should’ve acknowledged that. I do think he takes the „baby punishment“ sentence too seriously i don’t think people actually mean it like that. I’m guessing they mostly mean that she will either end up getting an abortion or he will end up still kinda raising the kid. I don’t think that „consequences“ means the baby but more everything happening after and the „ghosting“. My opinion on asylum seekers is that if you are fleeing war torn or persecution then you should seek asylum in the first country you arrive in that is safe for you. To move through numerous safe countries to reach your desired destination should not be allowed. The only factor that changes that would be that you have immediate family in the further country who are established & can provide support to you.
