Because it is an incredible dumb argument. And as clearly pointed out to you by the panelists property is repalcable, lives aren't. You're right, people sometimes self-delete when their lives are destroyed to that capacity. Goodbye kid's college funds, good bye house, good by financial cushion. I can't imagine how hard it is to run a self/family owned business and the ones who have been around for years become a symbol of their community.

Right, it's so fucking stupid. My car recently had a maintenance issue and I lost $2400 due to a scam, in the same week, right when I was running low on funds and still applying for jobs. And I still had a bunch of bills to pay on top of that. I managed to get the car fixed, but my every day life would have been substantially affected if I didn't (especially my work life). And if I lost anymore than $2400, I might have been out on the street because I couldn't pay my rent. With everything that was going on, I feel like I would have had a meltdown if my situation got worse. It's really annoying when these idiots talk like that.

I think it's either an issue with intelligence, that they can't perceive metaphors or abstract concepts of comparison. What's really funny to me is that she only apologized about accusing him of mansplaining because Destiny identifies as nonbinary. As if accusing a man of mansplaining is not offensive at all. And just like you said, the whole point of debates is justifying your stance. If you think the opponent is wrong in their beliefs, you have to assume that they just don't understand something. A good debater will explain their point in a simple way that anyone can understand, but the side effect of that is emotional people can feel like they're being talked down to
@jtzoltan
@jtzoltan 10 ай бұрын
It's hilarious that they don't understand that Rittenhouse didn't shoot to "defend property", he shot to defend his life, which he took very reasonable measures to avoid having to and excercised good judgement in doing so (like holding back on shooting the 3rd attacker with the pistol when he started to step back and lowered his gun, but shooting him only as he raised it again). People showed up to stand in/outside their businesses and those lf their neighbors as witnesses and deterrents to mob violence... they were armed to defend themselves and each other should anyone try to attack them. That's after 2 nights of riots had already done $50 million in property damage (I think people were attacked too, but could be misremembering) amd where the cops were clear they would not intervene and there were no national guards called in (the Governor was a disgrace). I'm not sorry to say, but Rosenbaum forfeited his life, and I don't feel sorry for a guy like him. I do feel sorry for the innocent kid he once was, but whatever he did and happened to him between then and this night, he was derranged.

It depends on the type of people you run into. In most cases, people aren't gonna wanna mess with you if they see you carrying, but in a select few cases open carrying can paint a target on your back. It paints you as a person of power and say if I want to do something illegal or take control of an area or situation the biggest threat to my objective would be a person of power. So it could increase your chances of getting ambushed. It's like how in war you'll always target those carrying weapons because those are the only ones who can stop you.

As lefties like to point out, insurance firms ALWAYS look for excuses not to pay out. I'm super surprised that you can get insurance against political action in the US. @Trade Bum Simmons no if they ridle steps above semi auto it is offensive, if the rifle steps above 5.56 to a 7.62 it is offensive. If it uses armor piercing rounds it is offensive. The AR-15 is modeled off a M1A4 Carbine. The 9mm is a small enough caliber that ammunition is plentiful on the battlefield. Most European Submachine Guns use it, this is why we switched from the .45 to the 9mm. It was so when you see a downed soldier ammunition is standardized.

Brat, if someone is going after the property I use to make my livelihood, it is apparent that THEY care about property more than human life - specifically their own. She honestly pissed me off. Her point boils down to: population A has a grievance and hasn’t felt heard for years by the government so that gives them the right to steal and destroy from uninvolved random dude B. You want to make a political statement? Go destroy a political building. Knocking over Nordstroms isn’t calling attention to the blm plight.
