Some amazing dent poses my friend. Haha, you remind me of myself and all the weird, contortionist positions we have to put our bodies in to make the dent repair great! Awesome job!

There is so many gems of information in this one video. I am going to try that trick to take the dodge bed caps off. I HATE those things. Always break for me. I’ve not used tension pulls by the way you use it I already have everything needed to give it a try. I just clicked subscribe to your channel. Amazing repair 😎👊🏼

They’re horrible. Once you get good at it, it’s not as bad… but it does take a while to get used to them… not easy at all

outstanding work, love the strap idea, seems to really hold well. Thanks for sharing.

You just glue the rachet strap directly to the bed side ? I would be careful when putting a lot of tension on the door hinge I would be thinking you may move the angle ?
@dentrepairjax Жыл бұрын
Yes I’m gluing it directly onto the bedside. Ya you’re right- I was careful. The part I was on wasn’t moving . It was stout 👍

Is it normal if my local body work shop is willing to charge me 2500$ for a dent that isn't even 25% as deep as what you have and around 8" by 3" dent
@dentrepairjax5 ай бұрын
Honestly ya that sounds normal for traditional paint and body

Those bed rail clips break when they are cold. It’s mainly the 1st one above the tail light that breaks. To avoid that take your wedge and lift it a little so you can hit it with a heat gun on low to soften the clips so they won’t break

Thanks for the tip Brad ! Appreciate it 👍

what type of glue
@dentrepairjax8 ай бұрын
This glue is called tequila fire. Here are some links to buy it amzn.to/3sbb2cU www.pdrtool.com/products/tequila-fire Here’s the dewalt powered glue gun link amzn.to/49egwo3

This probably won't work on faded paint or will it stick
@dentrepairjax5 ай бұрын
Hey quinton- great question man. So for PDR to work, you have to have a shiny surface that provides a reflection . Optimally this is the factory paint and clear, but if the surface is not shiny, we can cheat it a bit by applying a temporary shiny clear surface over the faded paint . So it’s possible but not ideal

What glue did u use?
@dentrepairjax Жыл бұрын
Here’s what I recommend for warm weather- amzn.to/42oChxw it’s a link from my Amazon Associates account what color was the glue? It might have been another type- if you tell me what color I’ll tell u I can get these glues cheaper from PDR companies
