The best craftsman I’ve ever seen on you tube. 99% of workers would have been done half way through and told the customer “that’s the best I can do at that price. If you want it better, it will be more.” But not my mate. Absolute pride in work and sheer perfection is the only standard for this fine man. Just brilliant work.

I started painting with my Grandfather at age 9 in the Bahamas back in 1972. I have been a professional painter home restoration contractor since 1980. I've been a pretty decent mechanic and repairman as well. Being a perfectionist myself I can easily recognize one when I see one. This is hands-down bar none the highest-quality dent repair work I have ever seen in my life. This blows my mind that somebody could have this kind of talent to where they can repair a car to this level of quality. I'm giving you a pat on the back and you need to give yourself one as well you are a true professional which is something you don't see much anymore. You fixed this dent the way I fix houses and other things, with nothing but quality in mind making it the best that it can be. It is easily as good as and probably better than the day it rolled off the factory floor. Unbelievable!! I can't say enough good about it there are no words to describe it. The level of workmanship surpasses anything I've ever seen in my life!! On a scale from 1 to 100... I can't say because I can't fit enough zeroes on the page. You really know your shit when it comes to repairing dents and doing body work. Best Ever hands down - bar none Rolls-Royce needs to hire you as their top body man. Best Wishes, Love and Light. God Bless You and Your Family!! Jimmy in NC....

Totally agree - an excellent job. This guy made it look relatively easy but as well as the specific tools he is using something you don't see which is his knowledge of exactly what to do and when to do it. He obviously has years of experience. As an ex bodywork guy retired years ago the system he used is new to me but works very well on the paper thin metal they use these days. Not to have to damage the paint is a huge advantage. That glue is fantastic !

Hey Jimmy thank you so much for your great comment and well done being in the industry for so long! Bahamas sounds better than Hull il tell you that now! I love to show as much detail as possible in my videos and also try to explain in normal man’s terms what I’m doing. In the hope to educate people who haven’t seen this method before, also for new technicians wanting to learn I hope That these videos help. I’d say I have good skills but I bet there’s people out there who eclipse me on repair quality!! @@stephenandrews1965 there are glues sold specifically for this if you search “paintless dent removal” or “PDR”. What I don’t know is how different those glues are from some of the other hot melt glues available. The advantage of hot melt for this is that it does NOT form the same type of permanent bond that epoxy or superglue do. Those would tear the paint off of the car, but the PDR glues just come unstuck. If it were me, I would try it with cheaper hot melt glues first, because what do you have to lose?
@dentremover01
@dentremover01 Жыл бұрын
Hi Kevin, and Stephen. Apologies for the delay in replying. Glue pulling can be quick to learn but it’s the knocking down of the damage and blending it back to the original shape which takes time and skill. The glue sticks are formulated to give a great bond, but to peel off as one, the diy sticks can go brittle quick and be a pain to remove. Also there’s other factors to take into account. Panel temp, temp or your location. cleaned surface, the time in which you leave to set and make the pull etc. also some dents are not glue pull dents and are better repaired with bars and tools. Again experience will help. Hot glue will pull paint off if your not careful and practice will help you figure this out. There’s training centres in Australia, also online training like “Learn PDR online” dent trainer, real world PDR training etc Have a search and you can practice using online help Hope this all makes sense and helps both of you. Thanks Martin

Terrific job, I have similar dents in my front wing just above the leading edge body line.it will be my first attempt at glue pulling I just hope to improve the dents but if I get it perfect then that will be a bonus. Thanks for your tips Martin, just waiting for the weather to improve. Best wishes to you for the future.

Hi Michael, thanks for your comment, all I can say is take it very steady and get use to the way it all works. Front wings are usually accessible from inside so with the correct tools you may be able to ease the damage out? Good luck and I hope you can get a good finish 👍🏼 Martin

Really enjoy your videos! You explain your techniques really well and you are a true dent wizard!! I spent several hours today with a “deluxe” PDR kit from Amazon for $40. I removed 2 dents including one which was on the upper curved part behind the B-pillar on my BMW M4. It was nasty but I got it about 95% perfect. I couldn’t be happier and I hope to get it to near 100% next weekend! My biggest tip for novices like me with a cheap kit is be ready for a lot of repetition and don’t give up. The rewards are well worth the effort. Cheers from Texas! 🍻

Spot on it’s worth getting some glue repair kits, look at CamAuto they make great collision glue tabs and their glue is the strongest too Will be quicker and better than taking the paint off and welding pins to the panel

Yes they do and this is bad for the car, as each weld then burns the inside of the panel and if not treated will rust from the inside out. Glue pulling is the best option

You're such a funny likable fellow and good at your craft. I went to a pdr guy recently after hitting my own mirror and it smacking the door and denting it right on the body line top of the door just near the window which is exactly why I was looking for a body line video that brought me to your content and I'm telling you, now, That those special lights you guys use show up every imperfection in a car paint job well, we sure had one of these lights to take with me when I went car shopping because there's so many dents in my car that I wasn't even aware of crazy. Great video thanks, I have faith that my car can be repaired now even though the PDR guy was a little bit dubious if he could fix it given the location relative to the body line. 😊
