I for one of millions will never have what Doug has but I am proud of what I have accomplished since coming home from Vietnam but I do feel that a man goes out and works to better himself and his family what he get through good honest work you have to understand you don't deserve anything I feel you have earned it there is a big difference in that, best of luck to the Larson Family Farmers...OH, don't mess it up too bad...

«pretty sure I’ve heard this story four times already” - oh boy, been there, done that. I’m sure it will turn out great. Tho tell the lumber jack to cut a notch in the tree on the side he wants it to fall. Cut at 60 deg angle into it about 25% of the thickness, and then an horizontal under cut that meets the upper one. Makes it way safer and easier. :)

I don’t know what was funnier. The fact that Randy had no idea how to cut down a tree or that Chet had no idea he had no idea how to cut down a tree, Where was Big Swede, with a name like that I bet he knows how to run a chain saw.
@vornamenachname45634 жыл бұрын
It seams like North American farmers are so used to take down trees with heavy equipment, that they totally forgot how to use a chainsaw.
@jjp11174 жыл бұрын
I dunno what’s funnier the fact that your criticizing farmers on KZbin for not being lumberjacks or the fact that at 42 you live in your patents basement
@asquithmainlines6994 жыл бұрын
JD Farmer Not criticizing anyone. I have felled 100’s of trees in my life, some 100 footers that I have had to climb to the top and cut down in sections as it was not safe to drop them. Many many people are hurt or even killed by not knowing how to do it properly as chainsaws can kick back with disastrous results. Three of my best friends are farmers and I help out on their farms all the time. Now that I am retired I have lots of time to do that.

11:22 When I saw how terribly this tree was being felled all I could think was that you need a sharper chain on that saw and y'all need to subscribe to and watch some videos from the KZbin channel 'Guilty of Treeson.' They are as entertaining as you guys are and specialize in tree cutting. Lots of great content on their channel as well. I think anyone that likes to see guys who are very good at their craft would enjoy watching their videos.

That was the most newfie way to cut a tree ever. What happened to notch first? Trees can kick and hurt you. Big Daddy is owed a new pair of pants and maybe some underwear. 57 cougars subscribed right after the viewing. You might want to give the new look on the house a swedish flavour. Good vid Winny. Peace.

Wow Chet. This was fun. Though I am sad to see lovely landscaping be ripped out; I don't understand why contractors could not replace siding and windows without all that turmoil and destroying your Mom's flower beds!
@oldtireman46654 жыл бұрын
It’s pretty clear some people should not be allowed near a chain saw. Not sure that chain would cut corn stalks let alone dry oak. Some folks need to watch a couple of Buckin’ Billy Ray Smith videos before they pick up that saw again. That was a pure travesty of woodsmanship.
@mrmikeyd24 жыл бұрын
That is cringe worthy

I'm noticing a trend............. The MIllenial Farmer was at his parents beautiful new home on the lake doing yard work and now Chet is at Dougo's house, a beautiful newer home on the lake doing yard work. Lesson ......... if you want a beautiful home on a lake ............. you gotta be a farmer.
