I used to hate Thompson during the height of his beef with Rockstar, but looking back, he's such a laughable failure that it's almost pitiful. Not only did his every attempt to ban games fail, but he managed to market the games better than their own creators and destroy his career in the process. The Big Bad of the videogame industry was revealed as nothing but a fear-mongering homophobic hypocrite using real tragedies to push his ridiculous agenda. He's a crazy street preacher singing the same cheap tune, but in 2019, no one's listening.

Yeah, with M rated games and R rated movies, stores and (in the case of movies) theaters are super strict on this. A parent must be present at the time of purchase and for movie theaters must be with the kid at all times. Failure to follow these guidelines is a sure fire way to get fired.
