If they all did, then that darts organisation collapses. They can then form their own organisation with their own rules. You can guess what one of them will be. The problem is then solved. The established organisation can then organise competitions for the trans "community". Not sure that many will pay to watch.

Just do this....turn up to the event (To participate) when the starting pistol/whistle,bell goes off or when you are INFORMED/TOLD to start just turn around & walk away! If we all did this the score board would show you & others as a "DNF" Did Not Finish & the only top spot would be them,just one competitor on the scoreboard. REMEMBER THIS.....that is not a competition. When more of this happens something WILL change as it'll be in the news & fans WON'T be happy. Saw a video once there was a boxer who was told how much he would get for his boxing match,in the dressing room before the fight he was told he would get much less! If he wouldn't fight he would get NOTHING as stated in the contract. What he did was enter the ring,the referee said the usual before any fight would...when the bell rang to start the fight he WALKED OUT THE RING to his dressing room.....he still competed/fought! He got his money thou which was far less!

There should be a Men's category a Women's category and a trans category that way it will be fair on all the players instead of having Men that are transitioning and playing in Women's competitions and breaking all the Women's records this should apply in all sports.

Why is it cheating? This is not a sport that relies on muscle power. Now as a separate issue I get that some want a separation of sexes by birth biology and I have no issue with that and further I feel that if you believe that, then the right to demand separate gender spheres must extend to such matters as private men’s only social clubs.

@mabyonedayicanbehappy I'm not sure if men having an advantage is really the issue here. I think the issue is that, like a lot of sports, darts is male dominated. So if a trans were to start playing in women's tournaments where the talent pool is going to be much lower, they will have an easier time than they would have trying to get into a men's tournament where they would have to face much more competition. Simply put, there are way more men players than women, so the competition is naturally more intense in a men's tournament. I hope that makes sense

Linda Duffy a former world number one darts player and now an Associate Professor in Sports Psychology at Middlesex University said the following quote: “That’s not to say a woman can’t beat a man, I’ve beaten loads, but when you look at the top of these sports the best men are always going to be better than the best women.” Men are often better than women at throwing sports because they are more skilled at concentrating on individual tasks, according to Linda Duffy. Mrs.Duffy has a successful career in academia which included investigating gender differences in target throwing for her PhD thesis. Please, read her thesis and extensive studies on this subject.

Nah mate, she signed up to play to the rules of the sport, the same as everyone else. The sports stance on transgender was well known in advance, it wasn't made up on the spot, and she signed up to those rules. If she couldn't play by those rules, which she was aware of in advance, then she shouldn't have signed up. The transgender person was beaten in the semi finals by another woman, so all this bullcrap is not about 'physical advantage' (what a load of bollocks in darts that is, has anyone not seen the stature of Phil The Power Taylor?), it is purely about the bias and mistrust of transgender people by the intolerant, uneducated and ignorant. Imagine being trapped in the wrong body your whole life, to the point of suicide, transitioning at the age of 16, having to stop playing darts for a few years, then having to pass stringent transitioning tests to play in women's darts (which is a joke since there are already women playing in men's leagues and winning regularly), then having an intolerant and ignorant 64 year old black woman who should know better refuse to play against her because she is 'different'. Well done Mrs Hedman, you have won the support of the uneducated and intolerant section of society (GB News is over the moon), but I feel you have lost your humanity.

Yes because there are so many trans athletes..especially darts players....... I don't know why people get their knickers in a twist over it to be honest. I think there needs to be some universal system that determines what is " fair" and what is not. Clearly it will be different for every sport. You can't just stop "them" competing, and you can't just say "you were born a man so you must now compete with them" You also can't allow "them" to blanket compete in their new chosen gender( Yes, chosen) Each case and each sport will be very different. Until there is a way to work all that nonsense out..there will always be people spitting dummies out over it. For example...in my opinion ,you just cannot have these "ladies" in events such as weightlifting..men are far stronger not simply because of higher testosterone and women are weaker for more reasons than having a fanny. Personally I think it is impossible to make fair..so if you decide you need to change your dik to a fanny, just assume that you will not be able to compete in sanctioned professional sporting events..unless you want to stay and compete with the men.
