Even with age, that Jaguar is still an absolutely beautiful automobile. I have always loved that body style of Jaguar. Practicality of a four door sedan and smooth, comfortable ride, but power when you need it. I really need to look at the used car market for one of these XJR's, I would imagine you could get one for a decent price. The trick for me being a detailer is that I would want one in perfect condition and that would be the trick. The hunt may be on........

If you can get one that's mechanically sound and doesn't have any corrosion on the aluminium panels I think you'd be in to a winner, the paint is so soft that anything could be polished out. I was thinking that this could really benefit from a 9H coating, but tbh it could do with self healing PPF to keep it pristine. Such a glorious looking car, and I think there's a few things you could do to the interior to bring it bang up to date. Probably just remove the head unit and replace it with a double din unit that has CarPlay or Android Auto and you'd be there.

It's aged so well I think, the interior dates it (although this has aluminium instead of wood, so it isn't as bad) but the exterior, wow.

Great job, I know it might sound insane, but on soft paint try more aggressive pad with finishing polish, it may surprise you :)

I have heard someone say that before actually, I swear it was something like Meg's 205 on a microfibre cutting pad or something like that. Might have been on AMMO or the like. I couldn't have one stepped this tbh but that could have meant one pad being used.
