Absolutely superb video. Prior to watching I had tried to use Husqvarna's own website to find info about replacement (longer) pressure hose, part numbers, etc. etc. They had absolutely nothing for this model number anywhere on their website. So I chatted with them, same result, clueless (they recommended I go to Briggs and Stratton website for parts, which is bizarre, and when I tried nothing there either). Then came across this video and all is now clear, thanks for the great recommendations on longer hose & source for needed adapter. Happy to subscribe!

Had the 2000psi husqvarna, not a single problem and great performance for mobile detailing. THEN, I got the 2300psi one and within a month the water pump housing blew and sprayed water everywhere! Then I took it back to costco and got the same one Hopefully I was making a mistake somewhere and this one lasts longer lol I really do like Husqvarna and this units setup and convenience of rolling anywhere. It's also one of the quietest I've used for less neighborhood disturbance for early morning jobs.

I bought this on Saturday at Costco. I used it today for the first time. It was working just fine until about an hour into use and a full blow leak started. Somewhere the casing has cracked around the high pressure outlet and now this thing is unusable as water spews everywhere. I will be calling Husqvarna tomorrow to see what they can do or I will be taking it back to Costco. Such a disappointment, too, because I like the overall setup.

I like it, picked it up from costcoast week for $200. One thing i didn't like, though, was that soap is dispensed only with the large hole plastic nozzle. My old ryobi would dispense soap at any nozzle. Other than that, it is a phenomenal pressure washer, very powerful, brushless motor. Hose is flimsy but adequate for non-professinal use.
@tonychan45263 ай бұрын
As per the video, picked one up on sale at Costco. Right out of the box, the motor body was spurting water, not dripping, spurting like a geyser. Tightening the bolts had no effect. Back to Costco and got another one (!). The replacement one works fine so far, but i definitely agree with the review; the water hose is junk. It tangles and kinks too easily. As Josh suggests, get an upgraded hose. After using it once, I think the ergonomics are not well designed at all. Would not recommend

As always, great video Josh! I picked up this unit and will say I was pleasantly pleased with it. Until this morning. The cast metal casing busted with a hairline fracture! Spewing water from the metal casing. Just waiting for Costco to open up and see if they have a replacement. I did peek at Cosco's reviews and this appears to be a serious problem as the 1 star negative reviews are continuing to grow! Super disappointed as this unit checked all of the boxes for me.

Just some food for thought..when I first started detailing my vehicles over 20 years ago I use to think the higher the pressure from the pressure washer the better..No..I still had to go and scrub the vehicle. So in my opinion buy something with known reliability and something decent pressure..the Ryobi keeps popping up for reliability, its size, and value. Is it perfect, no…but overall it’s a good value for the value driven buyer. I myself just bought one and can’t wait to try it out, though I did order a better handle, and some quick connects fittings and a better hose..Enjoy

First, thanks for the great review video. A few thoughts: It seems that the $99. Ryobi 1800psi unit is a much better value, as it achieved about the same PSI at 1.4 something gpm. It also has a 14mm outlet on the unit. Also, I would like to see the current draw with the foam cannons, especially comparing the 1.1 and 1.25 orifices. To see if the 1.1 orifice pulls over 15 amps as most US spec built homes have 15 amp circuits in the garage.
@imjoshv5 ай бұрын
A 1.1mm orifice on a foam cannon is equivalent to about a 3.0 nozzle. So the draw would be even less! Yea the ryobi is a great value for sure. This is an induction motors where that ryobi is not and I think that’s where the price difference comes in

Here’s the thing, mine has a cracked manifold, it leaks profusely. I looked on the husky site and this model doesn’t even come up, like it doesn’t exist. Through some very frustrating and poor quality customer support I found out that this PW isn’t made by husky. It’s a Briggs product sold as a husky. Of course there’s zero evidence of this model’s existence on the Briggs site either. Supposedly the parts for a 2000 are compatible with the 2300, but I don’t know for sure. It seems like a lot of these units have had this same cracked manifold issue. BTW, apparently nobody has a parts schematic to source parts for this specific model.

@Randy_Gentry5 ай бұрын
@@timkinley1779 yes my home has the ability to provide water from the water heater. I was worried that it would overheat the pressure washer.
@timkinley17795 ай бұрын
@@Randy_Gentry Any decent pressure washer can handle hot water from your tank. 140 degree supply water is probably close to 120 degrees by time it reaches the pump. Most of the internal components are injected molded plastics. The molding is generally manufactured at temps greater 200 degrees. Pump heads are lubricated by the water, not cooled. You won't get any issues as long as you have flow. Other than the water being warmer, the pressure and gpm is the working factor.

I think there's about half a dozen styles made by the same manufacturers and knowing which style we are getting and which brand paid for what alterations is important. Heck, a lot of this stuff is cross compatible with each other. I have modified switches in my steamers, repacked alternators in my 28 year old work trucks, 3D printed foam adapters, etc. I'm less concerned with brand and more concerned with "What internal parts can I swap in here" lol
