Off topic but got the mjjc foam cannon and got to try it out yesterday and it made such a big difference in the way I wash my cars
@dmcdayton6 ай бұрын
Great channel, thanks for reviews. Ex equipment rep here, that ramp up you mention most likely serves to keep the start up amp draw low. We used to lift up the 2HP electric motors on belt driven paint sprayers to create some slip and keep them from tripping 15A breakers during initial pressurization. Once the line(s) are at pressure, the pump doesn't have to work as hard so tripping the breaker not as big a concern.
@colinbeckstrand2612Ай бұрын
Ramp up is also really helpful for mobile detailers using gas or electric generators that can't handle those big start up draws.

As a plumber Teflon tape is not “always” recommended and shouldn’t always be used. Teflon tape or other thread sealant should only be uses an thread sealing connections; any connection made with o-rings, a sealing washer, a flare connection, or crush washer should NEVER have a thread sealant used, including Teflon tape as they can actually interfere with the seal or eat through the sealing device.
