Wow, so you don’t bypass your DI tank for everything but the final rinse. Either you don’t have really hard water or you go through the tanks more frequently. Looks like it’s a Puretec 1 tank system. Would you be willing to share what the cost is from Puretec. And that looks like a great hose real option.

Awesome video! I purchased a Giraffe hose real prior to seeing this video so this is confirmation I made a good choice. Just curious, I went with the 5/8s inch hose as opposed to the smaller one for more water volume. Not even sure if that matters. Any thoughts on hose size?

Yea i think the 5/8 will get more Gallons Per Minute (GPM) of flow. Ive notices it takes a little longer to fill my water tanks with the 1/2 hose

I'm curious if the diameter of the hose is impeding flow? I thought it will take a 1/2" hose longer than a 3/4" hose to fill a 5 gallon bucket? I like the idea. But I'm curious if a larger diameter hose will fill a tank faster?

Yea i think it does a little. They have a 5/8 option too i think.... But ive noticed it takes a little longer to fill my tanks. Not bad at all, but it is slightly longer

You can fill the tanks faster if you ditch the nozzle and put a valve on the end. That way the GPM is optimized.

Hi Josh, After seeing this video i bought Giraffe 130 ft water hose reel. It came today and i installed it. After 70 ft I gave it a tug and it was automatically retracting inside. It has just gone 20 ft and then it stopped. After struggling for 1 hours i could not make it recoil inside. It was just a lemon. On Monday it is going back to Guraafe and i will ask for full refund. Not worth of the one purpose it is built for i.e recoiling i side the cover. I felt like i wasted my money after your recommendation. I just wanted toblet you kniw. I ordered the hoselink one today that is Made in Australia. Hope you do honest reviews and not the paid reviews.

for the size its probably not a bad price but like you said the average person doesnt need one that big. their smaller one is still 100ft which is still a bit much considering for a little more we could get the one you use. i wish they had a 50ft or a 75ft and it would be right in what id like to spend

I just bought one, didn't even mount it yet. I saw a video yesterday about how badly this reel was after a year. Faded, not retracting all the way and the mount bracket started to bend. Oh well, I guess I'll find out this time next year.
