This is a buddies 2009 Chevy Silverado that has not been cleaned, vacuumed, or "picked-up" in 9 years. The owner works in construction so I removed 1000's of nails wedged everywhere under trim pieces, seats, and the bed. The headliner had years of finger prints and required a 3 inch microfiber cutting pad and 3 inch DA to remove the stains. Hope you enjoy! -L

Yeah, that truck will be back to the way it was within a week. The only thing I hope is that the guy paid. If he paid then it is his truck he can do whatever he wants with it but if this was done as a friend and even at friend rates then he should be way more appreciative.

@@THEGAMINGHELP101 Right. And to be fair there are a million variables in personality. Organization just isn't there for some, and for others it's an obsession. Yes and no, even though I was thinking "Ah yes, an old school cleaning job", I also appreciate the paint correcting stuff because it helps me on how to address damaged or dirty paint. Of course not to his level of detail, but I know how to stop them from getting worse and even hide them a little. Even though it was refreshing to see something 'old' again, I'm fond of both inside, outside and different kinds of 'levels' of cleaning.

I just bought a '99 Jeep TJ 5-Spd that has been sitting outside for the past 4 years - the base is in GREAT shape, along with the engine and what not, very minor rust around but it def needs some TLC and you are so damn thorough, I am learning so much from you! Sub for sure! Thank you! I am about to get started this weekend and take off the wheels and give them a good scrub and wash and then i'm going to tackle the underbody with a wire brush to get the loose rust off and then hit it with POR 15 to protect it! One thing I need is a Carpet steamer/cleaner and a damn extractor - those things are SO HELPFUL! Thanks dude! Shout out from Long Island!

Awesome video, one of the best one I have watched on your channel. I am not really into all these hyper expensive cars and stuff, seeing something real like this truck made me smile :) Oh, and I did like the music! cenariusbg Same with me! Was nice to see a genuine, real life detail with daily grime and rubbish in the car! The waxing after a luxury sports car has a small scratch or complete detail when the carpets just need vacuumed isn’t my type of video. Too hard to relate to the other ones, this one was cool to watch and gave good tips

I own a 2008 3500, this thing is rust free. The rust you are seeing in the jams is the untreated metal used (Its like a little rod of rebar that is easily replaced). It far and away has the most durable clear and paint of any truck ive owned.

You clearly aren’t old enough to remember how 10 year old cars/trucks tended to look in 2009... Or 1999... Sunshine states don’t really count because cars obviously aren’t gonna rot there. Things aren’t anywhere near as bad as they used to be!

Yeah I don’t get why Americans seem to think pick up trucks are the solution to everything. They’re mainly just farm vehicles here, because you can use the bed for moving animals/things you wouldn’t want in the cabin with you.
@daltonandrew168

@@Jonathan_Doe_ well a sprinter van is a mercedes and is actually considered a luxury vehicle in America. A sprinter van of the same year would cost almost twice as much as this truck. Plus this truck is a 2500 hd 3/4 ton with a diesel. And if he needs to hauk something in the bed like a mower or atv . he can just clear out the back and use the bed. Its also a Chevrolet... Way cheaper to work on than a mercedes. And way easier. Less money u spend on ur truck , the more money u can pocket from ur job.

I been trying to figure out a much safer option for cleaning a headliner. And the polisher works amazing. And you don’t have to used a steam machine and worry about sagging or melting the glue. If not done correctly. And I just used a soft drill brush with a 1/10 carpet cleaner solution and water extractor(just water) to make the carpets look amazing. Ammo is by far one of the best channels. I have learned a lot from here. Will say to go ahead and watch most of his videos. Really insightful.

Jackson Pierre that’s no excuse. The fact that it’s a work truck should be one more reason to keep it clean: if somebody who you’re hiring doesn’t take care of their own stuff, how can you trust them to take care of yours? The dirty truck reflects very poorly on his image in my opinion... I wouldn’t trust him to do any work for me.

Your friend really needs to read ‘2 Second Lean’ and make himself some kind of part/tool organisers for the bed. He’s making his life way more stressful (and putting his health at risk with how mouldy some of that interior looked), for the sake of avoiding a couple of days work building organisers and coming up with systems to keep track of what he has and what he needs.
