Excellent review. Used for plastic kit model painting, I prefer the Sparmax Max 3.0 you have linked below predominantly for its needle size and notably larger paint cup, although its rear cover with pre-set stop adjustment is another nice to have default feature, especially for noobs. I have it (OEM) in its Tamiya 74801 SX 0.3D incarnation. Either outstanding value for money IMO.

I started lubing inside of my airbrush with wd40 what a game changer I never have tip dry and paint feeds amazing

Interesting 🤔 I have never used WD40 for that purpose, I would just urge on the side of caution if you are planning to clearcoat your work as I know clear plus WD40 don't like each other, either way appreciate you sharing this I'll have to look into it further 😉

@@AirbrushAsylum oh for sure I don’t clear coat with my airbrush just once I clean my brush and dry it out I put a little wd40 in the brush cup and feed it though till it’s empty and it coats all the internals and needle mannnn does it run beautifully paint doesn’t stick to anything in the brush for clear coating as I am a taxidermist I use automotive gun to clear my fish mounts

@@jasonnester9514 yes , I didn’t think that you would clear with the airbrush but thought that if you are spraying paint out of the airbrush and then clear coating (with your spray gun) perhaps the paint may react as it has possibly been in contact with the WD40🤷‍♂️ but that’s great to hear that you have had no issues, I will have to give it a go and again thanks for sharing your tips with the community 🙏🏻👍🏻😉

The lines in this were airbrushed using the SP.35 shown…they are a great brush very underrated 👍🏻
