Last year we completely gutted and renovated our garage to turn it into an auto detailing "studio." Check out the final result and see how we organize everything to keep it clean and efficient!

These are the Barina ones from amazon. They're pretty cheap but have held up well! I really like how easy they are to link together and don't require any fancy wiring. Just plug and play.

Looks awesome! Do you have to do paperwork or anything about permits from town to build the detailing shop on your own garage?
@high-defdetailing148511 ай бұрын
Thank you! I didn't have to do any sort of permits or paperwork in my area as far as the remodeling was concerned. You may have different property tax requirements for having your business at home though. If I put a drain in the garage I'd have to get permits etc.

What paint did you use for your walls?
@high-defdetailing14852 жыл бұрын
I believe it was just an interior eggshell white from Menards. I’m going to redo it with a grey next year with Behr or Sherwin Williams paint. It’s much better quality.
@macdetails53032 жыл бұрын
@@high-defdetailing1485 yea I’m debating between white and grey as I’m planning on doing my garage over the winter. I have a Sherman Williams around the corner from me too. I do wash with my pressure washer in the garage though so trying to find the best paint to repel moisture
@high-defdetailing14852 жыл бұрын
@@macdetails5303 I would recommend a semi-gloss paint in that case and 2 to 3 coats. Some people use exterior paint but I stick with interior. Best of luck!

How did you get accredited from your home?
@high-defdetailing14852 жыл бұрын
As long as your workspace is climate controlled and looks professional you should have no issues getting accredited by any major ceramic coating company. I've had many people say my home space is much nicer then the majority of retail shop locations around here.
