Son , if you had a floating sift ,you not only could check faster when you have too many shells but when there could be more than one target and you can always use your pin pointer if you make your screen wire out of nylon mesh,Might be worth a try. Good luck ,,but you dont need it .

I have the very same scoop. 2 problems with it are the handle at the joint needs to be stronger and the end of the scoop will get soft and start to bend. I am still using them but had to make some modifications.

Yeah, I used this scoop for about a week and a half and put it away in the garage. It’s definitely not for water hunters. Much better suited for dry sand hunts
