I dont think the problem is her crying or being "unprofessional" male detectives get emotional on the stand. If you dont feel anything for a young girl being taken out of this world, and having to be the person to investigate it, seeing all the horror, its odd. Yes, it's their job, but theyre still human, and it doesnt make it easier to have to see this dtuff day in and day out. But like in the comments, all anyone is talking about is the sniffing.. that takes away from the victim, it's a distraction. They should have recessed so she could get herself together.

I don’t doubt that this detective cares about her cases and victims, but the fake crying and fake, LOUD sniffles right into the mic are not only downright annoying, but also insulting. Pretending to cry and then wiping away nonexistent tears is insulting because no one doubts that she cares about the case/victim, but it’s insulting to put on a show to try and convince us of that when we all have a brain and also have eyeballs to see that.
