I know it’s meant to be ambiguous who actually did the murder, but I think it’s the wife. I don’t think she’d suddenly want to take the fall for him after she found out the whole plan the husband had for leaving her

4:48: I really like, that they did not reshoot the tie getting caught in the button. It just adds a tad of realism, because things like that just happen, and the people they are happening to, often do not realise, that they have happened.
