Glad you were able to find our national dish Adobo. And glad you liked it. As someone here pointed out, different regions here cook it differently. Like i think in Bicol they add some coconut milk to it. But basic Adobo is very easy to make really. it's just water, a little soy sauce, vinegar, pepper corn, and bay leaf (or what we call laurel) on the meat of your choice. Just put it all together and cook! Anyway, Hope you were able to visit Manjuyod Sandbar in Dumaguete. They say it's like the Maldives of PH. ᵔᴗᵔ

If you are up for 4 or 5 hours of travel to the other side of the island by bus, you will find there Bacolod City, the city of smiles and home of the famous and original chicken inasal 😋as well as sweet delicacies like piaya and the napoleones 😋The napoleones is best while hot. For the piaya, I love the traditional thin ones found at Quan's and Bongbong's. Enjoy Dumaguete!!!

Those ferry tips were golden!! And why do you usually choose Airbnb the website? Is it popular in Philippines? Most countries we visit it’s expensive 😢
@AlwaysonaJourney
@AlwaysonaJourney Жыл бұрын
Thanks once again for your support. We often choose Airbnb because we both work online and need stable wifi. We also need two separate rooms to work from as we often work at the same time.( We teach) From experience sometimes staying in a hotel means sharing the wifi with other guests. With Airbnb we always communicate in advance with the owner to verify the wifi speed. It costs more but it's essential for our jobs. ;-)

@@eduardochavacano Well, that kind of ignorance doesnt affect your soul. Nothing so important and it's no big deal. Because FOOD however.... 1 Corinthians 8:8 [8] FOOD, however, will NOT IMPROVE our RELATIONS with God; we shall not lose anything if we do not eat, nor shall we gain anything if we do eat. Why don't we ralk about real IGNORANCE that affects your soul?! Ephesians 4:17-18 [17]In the Lord's name, then, I warn you: do NOT CONTINUE to LIVE LIKE the heathen, whose THOUGHTS are WORTHLESS [18]and whose MINDS are in the DARK. They have NO PART in the LIFE that God GIVES, for they are completely IGNORANT and stubborn.

I have a pitch for you guys! Make a video solely focusing on testing different Halo-halos in different restaurants, may it be in well-known restaurants like Chowking or a small stall beside a street and compare them. Your thumbnail will be titled "This might be the best Halo-halo here in the Philippines" with a big photo of a halo-halo and the two of you looking shocked behind it. I also like the way you say Halo-halo, with your strong accent, take leverage of this and in the first seconds of the video, make a montage of you saying the word "Halo-halo" to hook Filipinos in and i guarantee you they will copy the way you say it because it is peculiar (not in a bad way). I am one of the people that copy the way you say halo-halo by they way :D Now, when you have a new video notification, i always say "oh it's Mister halo-halo" and my girlfriend always give a good laugh whenever i say it. That's my pitch :)
