gtas321 I first played it on my original xbox. I thought it was interesting enough compared to other FPS games that I've played like Goldeneye and Halo. Later on, I picked up Deus Ex 1 and 2 when I got a decent enough PC to play them. I actually feel that my enjoyment of Invisible War diminished after playing through the original games. I wouldn't go as far to say it was a bad game, but it's not as great as the two games that came before it. I actually went through a similar thing with the Thief games as well. I played Deadly Shadows on my xbox and then bought the first two games for my PC when I heard that DS was the third game in a franchise.

I'm hoping this Adam Jensen storyline meets JC Denton. I can see this happening, because Human Revolution is set in 2027 (I believe) so Mankind Divided shouldn't be too far apart in the year. Original Deus Ex is set in 2055, where augmentations are covered with skin, and the generation Adam Jensen is in they haven't invented the technology for that yet. After Mankind Divided or a few more sequels I hope they connect the two together somehow, because I'm sure the developers will add the skin augmented technology on the next few sequels.

It would be interesting if the next Deus Ex, dealt with Adam facing obsolescence with the introduction of the Nanoaugmented Cyborgs, who are better accepted by society. Getting caught up in the divide between them and Mech's, like Gunthur and Anna Navarre, where in the first game. Neatly tieing the prequel series to the original. Maybe even doing so by facing off against JC Denton in one ending.

NO. The prequels needs to rebooted if anything because they're starting to veer off course from the continuity of the first game. Now with that said, I would love an updated, remastered DX1 game that would use alot of the game mechanics and augs from the prequels. Well, minus the cancerous takedowns and regen health because those seriously are not needed in this game. That and maybe update some of the data readers to fill in the blanks about characters like Adam Jensen since that would be a really nice way to connect the games together..
