Deutz f4m 1011f engine not starting, priming injection pumps, timing belt

Good evening chief please, I have a problem on a deutz engine 2 cylinder model F2M2011.while proceeding to the starting the injector pump does not discharge fuel, I disassembled these two pumps then mounted on another identical engine and then the pump discharges fuel.I tested my solenoid also on another engine it works well. I tested my solenoid also on another engine and it works well. But I have a problem with my rack by sliding it on one side without the presence of the pumps it gets stuck on one side now I followed your video I began to have ideas but I do not know how to put back in order this rack.and then you had talked about the adjustment of the valve also which causes problem precisely the exhaust valve, I do not have the catalog of this engine I seek your help to know this adjustment and other possible verification. I thank you for your kind understanding.

Excellent 👍 doing same job now. Frozen injection pump . Got them clean free and then dropped one snapped plunger off...😢 Goofy rubber timing belt on industrial motor s. New age 2.9 water cooled are now gear cam drive but have ECM common rail.

I have the same motor from my T 200 Bobcat. I did a complete rebuild, it starts fine, but it surges from low to medium rpms. With the solenoid removed, I can get it to idle correctly holding the fuel rack open. Is it the governor ?

I am working on a 3 cylinder just like your the guy ran it out of fuel tried re prime and still can’t get it to run any other ideas

You mean setting valve lash? Intake and exhaust If so, its very basic like it has been on engines from beginning, loosen the lock nut above each valve and turn the set screw to set feeler gauge needed on each valve.

Do you know what causes “runaway” on these motors? My fuel rack moves freely but I still have no control over the rpm’s

Lift pump leaks fuel into motor oil causes overfilling and runaway. I had one do that. Change lift pump on oil if oil level gets high .

I did not need to work on governor, but it's made the same as any old school type on steam engines. Rotating weights and spring counteracting them.

thanks for the useful tips - Do you know the pinout of the 3 pins on the shur-down solenoid by any chance - I understand there are two coils inside

The two pins that are in line with each other. +/-12v to them. The perpendicular one is engine ground. It is one coil.

One coil is pull in the other is holding coil . If pull in is bad it won't start . Often get hot coil goes bad.
