Drivers barely understand the laws they're supposed to follow, much less the menagerie of often conflicting rules that bikers follow. For just a brief example, there are places where bikes are not allowed to ride on side walks, places where they MUST ride on side walks, places where they must take up the full lane, places where they must be on the right side of the lane, and places where they must ride into oncoming traffic. It's kind of hard for "common sense" to form when the next suburb over has wildly different expectations for cyclists.

bikes are not just there to use the right 20% of the lane. they count as a FULL vehicle and you as a car driver have to (by law) not only give them 1m distance but the FULL lane while taking over. (at least that's how it works in Germany). having 4 bikes behind each other means you have a way longer overtaking time and distance, than if they drive next to each other. you are wrong on this.

I've seen cyclists do that shit with emergency vehicles that had their sirens on. Also heard from family members who were nearly killed at this one road back home by groups of cyclists nearly running them off the cliff edge because they wanted to take up both lanes instead of the vehicle lane they would've been in as a motorist. I ride my bike to work and back during cooler months, always sticking to sidewalks and following pedestrian laws. You can be a "cyclist" without being a cyclist.

Generally, there is nothing more annoying on the road than these weirdos who dress up in spandex and ride their $3000 bikes on public roads. They don't stop for red lights because "I don't wanna lose my momentum". They don't stop at the side of the road to let you pass (this is a law in germany, if you're slow, you need to allow people to pass you). And sometimes they form these little gaggles like here where they take up half the road. They think because they're doing a sport, they're better than everyone and none of the rules apply to them and they think if they have to ever stop their bike, it's a crime against humanity. So I'm with you and that driver and I found that to be a very satisfying video.

Truth be told, I'd probably date the stripper. The cyclist video reminds of a "fateful" day for cyclists. I was driving on a 70 kph road (45 mph ish for tard units), and there was this massive amount of cyclists who couldn't keep themselves to the side of the road. I commented "do these people not care about their lives? They're going to get run over sooner or later". Just an hour or two later while driving, I was listening to the news channel. And I sh*t you not, they said "there has been a traffic accident involving dozens of cyclists". Can't tell you how many times I've seen cyclists do absolutely henious sh*t in traffic. They will do anything to get past you, no matter how many times you have overtaken them. They don't care about you, they don't care about the fact that they are risking their lives over and over again just so they can get ahead of you 3 seconds faster. They run red lights. Some of them speed. But there was this one guy who was biking on the road and I thought to myself "aw jeez, not again...". He was doing exactly 40 kph on a 40kph road while there was a bike lane on the sidewalk right next to him. But, as he was keeping the speed limit, I gotta respect his decision.

cyclists are entirely as stupid as car drivers or motorcyclists. also, in many jurisdictions overtaking cyclists requires changing lane completely, treating the bicycle as a car, not the half-lane overtake people like to do. so taking up the entire lane with several cyclists is not a horrible thing to do. the amount of times i almost got driven over by cars because they where incredibly stupid is...significant.
