I didn’t hit the genetic lottery. I’ve been called ugly my entire life and struggle with weight due to PCOS. BUT my clothes look good for my body type, I keep excellent hygiene, am very intelligent and carry myself well. I’m constantly offered perks and benefits in several respects. I give all credit to God that people look at me with favor, but the advice in this video is pure gold and very true!

I have always known how to maximize my "prettyness" but, living in the inner cities where brutal attacks on women were and still are very rampant just for rejecting a guy, I just hid behind a hair scarf and jeans so I wouldn't draw attention to myself. I feel like many melenated women have had to deal with this dilemma a time or two before. The key to even beginning a journey like this would require an environment that SUPPORTS it. So I HAD to move...and let's just say, I'm a BRAND NEW WOMEN🤗💕🥰

This can also be very enlightening for survivors of abuse + trauma, combined with therapy, self-care, journaling this type of system of keeping ones Self Up, as Worthy, as better than whatever situation one is coming out of ~ so powerful 🙏 prayers and love to everyone. Feminine privilege is so real. I have to beg my guy friends to allow me to even open a door for myself. It does matter the race or age or even social status, guys just want to be gentle with me and they like when I allow them to be. When I was more insecure and didn’t unlock my full femininity, I didn’t get even half the special treatment I get now and I wasn’t allowing myself to receive in.

I agree with the person who made a comment about your "prettyness' and your environment. I live in inner city London and I travel using the bus and underground train. You want to look good but not too good where you draw unnecessary attention or seen as a target. It would be silly of me to leave the house in 6 inch heels without flats to catch the bus or be clicky clacking down the street at night. You do have to practise common sense when getting dressed. My femininity journey really moved in leaps and bounds when I got a corporate job and worked on my financial education. That's not to say you cant begin to work on the mental/emotional/behavioural side of femininity.

About more than 6 months ago, something just clicked and I've finally realized what was missing that made all other things missing or only half-fulfilled. You can't be whole if you are not whole. Neither will the other things and people come to you, recognize you. I miss it. On a journey to rediscover femininity and what it truly is and means. Yesterday, I went to get a haircut, dye my hair and get my nails done. Kind of failure to what I actually wanted. I cried because of the end result. I mean it's not bad. It's just not it either. What should've been. At least, in my mind. And so I cried because I felt like once again something took something away from my femininity again. But... it's a journey. And becoming pretty, feminine and behaving naturally because you feel like it - patience. Rediscover what it truly is, what it means, what's supposed to feel like, to look like to myself and the world. If you ask me what I miss most in the world these days, it's two things - well, one thing and one person. It's a journey - which strangely currently feels like far away and at the same time - less than a year away. I wonder why is that. Towards discovering my true feminine self! Towards discovering our true selves!
@TheFeminineUniverse2 жыл бұрын
Yes! Your journey is absolutely in your hands, Anna! It's totally normal to get into your emotions when things don't go your way, especially when it feels like it's just one more thing out of your control. But then we shake it off and realize it's not even a page in our book, just a paragraph or maybe just a sentence. Cheers to discovering your true feminine self🥂

This just called me out with the pretty privilege part of the end of the video. That’s exactly how so many of my friendships go. It’s easy for me to draw people in, but it’s hard to keep them. I always feel so alone. And I’m not saying this is just about pretty privilege, I am a huge perfectionist in everything I do. And I guess because of it, it makes me appear stereotypical. Because (I’m a musical theatre actress whose blonde), everyone tells me I should play Karen from Mean Girls. They mean it as a compliment, but what’s being implied, is that I’m the dumb hot blonde. another great video! do you have any books/videos/resources for the strategy part and reading people and making people feel good around you? thank you!!!
@TheFeminineUniverse2 жыл бұрын
Oh, girl! This could be a whole video😂 But for quick suggestions, I'd say How to Win Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie and for strategy, pretty much every book by Robert Greene.

I had to laugh at the looks being geared to making you look intentionally distressed. Never thought of them this way!
@TheFeminineUniverse2 жыл бұрын
Haha - glad that made you giggle! Had to be a little dramatic to make the point. But people really wear these things. It's very interesting, to want to look distressed 🤔

Greetings, my question is how I can present my new feminine truth in all my environments where all did was reflect masculinity ways and vulgar language? How do I just turn into my higher self and the world see my new ways in one day? Thank you 🙏
@TheFeminineUniverse2 жыл бұрын
Hi, love. Nothing happens overnight. I love your self-awareness though! If vulgar language is an issue for you, I would say start with working on that and tackle things one at a time. I’m really sick of being told I have to be soft just to be treated a certain way that got nothing to do with me that has everything to do with the people that want to disrespect you just because they feel as if you’re not soft enough they wanna treat you a certain way just because they feel as if you’re not soft enough I don’t want you in my life if I got to be overly soft just for you to treat me with respect

Yes, definitely! It seems many women would like to discuss this. It is now on the list. Thanks, Kerri!

Yess! Also, I’ve noticed how the comments are all so positive and uplifting, maybe subconsciously we’re slowly building some sort of feminine conglomeration of women seeking the same purpose? ✨
