I agree to an extent, Devon is a bit over the top and While it definitely sells the matches Denis Seems too humble for that type of hype to come off right. That said A lot of people bring up the match between Devon and Denis where Denis was in his prime and forget it was a left handed match following after Devon's injury, He had surgery for so It wasn'ta good example even on left arms. Denis was incredible but He was never completely invincible and when their right handed match finally did come around between Devon and Denis at that Point Denis was also at a point of recovering from health issues so It's hard to really go off of either match as a baseline for who is better I think a Prime Denis and Prime Devon right handed match would be awesome but I think it's one of those things just like in boxing where You don't always get to see the greats at their greatest at the same time.

Devon was one of the reasons I got into armwrestling, and one of the reasons I got out of it. His persona changed once he tasted youtube fame, also probably affected by all the PEDs. The scene in the US for the most part is very trashy, and of course Devon is very popular here, and armwrestlers like to smoke lots of marijuana and are loudmouths who cuss a lot, just like their egomaniacal hero.

@@astwas You say that, but Vitaly lost to Dave Chafee in 2022, and Ermes in 2023, and Devon beat Ermes in 2023. It's more likely that Devon would have won that match, than loses it. Even if Vitaly wasn't a threat, it still wouldn't have made sense for Devon to take a match against Vitaly when he's on an upward trajectory for a match against Levan.

@@kingbranden1369 I do believe this can be resolved if Devon creates another left hand legacy hammer, and makes the one Dennis has meaningless. Basically, erase the Dennis hammer out of history. But that's not going to happen for a while as Devon created something very meaningful, and doesn't want history to lose that first left hand hammer. It would also make for a bad precedent - someone else would just keep the next hammer and say "just make another one". It's probably the only thing that makes Devon genuinely angry. Everything else he fakes for views, but not the anger about the legacy hammer.

Dennis' legacy is intact no matter what. Devon can say anything he wants because Dennis is a big reason the sport is as big as it is for are all sitting up there on the world stage. I feel like i really want to know how to perfectly operate when im judging. Is there any guide you did or anyone else you would suggest? I think this topic would be a great video with also the "Ruleset" of Armwrestling. It often happens that still after watching maybe 200 matches (and some PPV) i often do not a 100% understand whats going on ref-wise/rule-wise in a lot of matches. Would be appreciated endlessly. Interestingly I have been hesitant on buying this one. I hate it when Devon is on the card. Every time he is on the card I have to convince myself the other matches are worth it buying the PPV.
