Strength is the most important part in armwrestling by far. That's why weight class exist. We know there occasionally comes armwrestlers(such as John and Alizhan for example)who beating bigger/ stronger men at the highest level. In those cases, born-with genetics play more role than learnt techniques imho. Note: techniques still is a must. Thats why a physically strong person wouldnt come in armwrestling dominate people. Another reason for that is armwrestlers are one of the strongest people on the planet. We should also note our hands are divided into chunks of muscle. Devon for ex. his pronator is legendary (isn't that define "strong"), some guys hav freakish bicep curl strength such of Levan and Denis, some other at the wrist. Those are some of the parts on our hands we can *strengthen* for armwrestling. Devon Larrett hands are strong for sure, right more than left. Combined that fact with his smart brain which allow him to reason both in and off matches, tabletime which gives him his technical know how learn thru ages, and all that making him a force to be reckoned with... The result is this double champ in the biggest armwrestling promotion who still beating waf and eaf champs nearing the age of 50. He really is doing whatever he wants in EvW , up and down in weights, beating people left and right. You can't accomplish these without being strong. Imagine EvW heavy champ, light heavy champ, and super champ for a guy, hed likely still a super champ if levan wasnt born😅 Now i see why ​some people are saying he already out-goated John Brzenk. I am not sure about that one though. I never get into that discussion. It's a mass of a topic, full of gibberish, irrational hate and toxicity, filled with people unable to mathematics, objectifies events and history. For me, call either of these two goat, i wont mind it.
