I think it was still counting because you were replacing the porch with a room. The porch foundation counts as room tiles. If that makes sense.

Yeah that's what I thought too. He basically added walls to the existing floor tiles, no extra tiles added 😊

I’ve made this mistake so many times! 😂 Or the opposite, being over and forgetting that a porch is being included in the tile count. It’s so annoying and obvious when you look back, but in the moment, with this game being so broken, it’s just easy to assume things are broken and move on. 😅

Actually, when you click on the floor and then go upstairs with no-walls mode (I just don’t know the correct wording for it) there should be yellow lining, and when you select it, you can build a roof, it doesn’t count as tiles and you can paint the ceiling as well. In 34:46 you can also use the little upper cabinet from the Country Kitchen Kit as well! It fits when it is in white quite well actually and I love to use it especially over the sink just because it has plates on it. Lastly, thank you for supporting us, women, even though I’m not from US, I can understand the struggle very well, we had been through the same things last year and I appreciate it when you talk about it. I just cannot word out how I am thankful to you and love you both as a person and also in terms of content 🥹💖 Thank you for being the person you are, and your amazing content!

I live in the country in Missouri, u nailed the farm house vibe, perfect, just a lil change, only cause I live the winters with a wood stove for heat, swap the stove with the radio stand, then the heat can warm the home more evenly (in reality 😁 *giggling*), other than that wonderful wonderful job, love it, I'm ready to sit in the rocker and crochet 😉 listening to my chickens in the background ❤️

Chimley is the rat mum who lives under the house, and seeks refuge on the roof when the kids gets too rambunctious. She's very pleased with her dwelling though, and the ample food supply :)

It annoys me so much that they consider a veranda as tiles for the house. I understand why because it’s the Sims, but in real life, they are not considered as tiles. People design small or mini house and add huge verandas to have outdoor space to use. It is the pleasure of mini houses!
