Denimio has become my go to for Japanese denim. Great service and advice, price is a no brainer, loads of choice. Their weekly deals are the thing to watch for. I got a pair of Sumurai jeans for just over £120, compared with £299 if I was buying them from UK stores.

PSA about the samurai soap. The soap I bought nearly ruined my jeans. It inoculated them with mildew and I had to wash my jeans several times with antiseptic soap to get them smelling normally

I've been wearing Oni SD dark indigo jeans for about a month. They've started to fade at the stitches, seams and belt loops, now it looks like a dark night sky with some Milky Way spots or something... wonder what to expect in a year or two.

Here's a bit of a leftfield recommend: Blundstone chelsea boots. Not goodyear welted but apparently quite long lasting. Was looking for a backup pair of all-purpose boots. Slathered them in mink oil for the winter, now I hardly want to take them off they're so comfortable

There are a lot of boots out there to try! Others have recommended Blundstone, they are on my list... a few other brands I need to check out first.. Danner, Wolverine...

Awesome video man. I recently got the black x black secret denim on denimio (your code didn't work for some reason) but woah that denim has some serious character. Feels thick and soft but it isn't heavy at all.

I kinda wish I had picked up the blackxblack. I will check out the code and see if I can get it working.

Hey, have you ever fallen or hit your jeans with something hard and sharp? I have my first raw selvedge jeans a week ago and i fell on a sharp rock pile yesterday. I have a scratch around the left knee, a lil bit lower and a bit to the side, not in a very tense area. I'd like to see how contrast accidental scratches could fade overtime. Is it going to fade as fast or even faster, since its already there in the beginning. Maybe Im a bit ocd, so im a bit concerned about uneven things 😅. Pardon my english

Great pair of jeans and review. Do you know if there’s any further shrinkage in the inseam to be expected if I were to purchase the one wash option then eventually gently wash at 30C? I don’t cuff my jeans so they would be unwearable if there’s further shrinkage. I had this problem with the Rogue Territory Stanton jeans which were allegedly sanforised but shrank 1.5 inches with a gentle 30C wash.

Do you think no wash gives better fades, or is diff between one wash and no wash marginal for overall fading potential?

Yes, indigo dipped... actually from Gap a few years ago, super cheap, not very heavy but kinda interesting to my inner denimhead!

Would be nice if you wore your jeans in future reviews. Would give us an idea of the fit, the shape, whiskering and the characteristics of the denims. Front, back and side views would be nice on body in future vids. Helps me in making personal purchasing decisions. Thanks for uploading

Love channel, Question? I wear a 36X30 Jean, like a very tight fit in the crotch and bottom, with very loose in the legs. WHAT IS YOUR SUGGESTION ON FINDING JEANS WITH THAT FIT? like the option to sit comfortably and also perform a high kit, or work in the squatting position.
@DevonReviewer5 жыл бұрын
What I would do is find my comfiest trousers, and take measurements of the top block; waist, front rise, rear rise and thigh. Then aim for a taper to knee and hem. If the hem ends up around 7.5 inch that should achieve a fitted look. Heddels have a good search engine covering a number of brands cuts and measurements.
