Nice video mate. It's important to have the right tools that suit how you work. I'm a toughsystem man myself ( chippy ) . Very tough and the racking for the boxes works so well in my van and my workshop. As you go on in your journey your tools and how you carry them it will evolve to suit your needs. Just to let you know it gets more expensive the further you go. Keep it going mate.

Excellent review. So many are jusr sales videos that don't address the cons. I particularly liked your point about professionalism.
@lucasicilia72413 жыл бұрын
Thanks Steven glad you liked the video. Yes for me I only recommend things on my channel in which I have used myself and that I think is up there with the best of that sort of product on the market. The professionalism point, I’m happy that you agree, as from the perfective of a customer/client the TStak looks more professional than a standard tool bag in which anyone would have.

@@lucasicilia7241 A long time ago (1980s) I ran a one-off job to move a small computer room with the IT kit and data cabinets in a local government office. I completed the job and the customer suggested I bid to do a similar thing in 120 other office across the UK (I won that contract against big companies and it kept me and a team working for 2 years). They told me that they suggested it and recommended me due to a professional appearance and approach. It certainly makes a difference. I'm just a hobbyist these days but am thinking of TStak for one of my hobbies as I have to lug a lot of stuff about for it. Keep at it and hopefully there will be some good contract ahead for you.

The Stanley Fatmax Pro Stack are carbon copies of the T-Stak. People can save a few £ if they don't mind having a different name on their box's. Same parent company, different price. Nice review mate. 👍🏻

Great video totally agree the tstak is a great set up to have not to big like the Milwaukee pack out as you have said the draws are great I have been using tstak myself for many years and I have only had one side clip break on me but newer versions have improved locking latches.i suppose it all comes down to what works for different trades at the end of the day

Great system - have been using them for a few years. I would mention that the plastic wheels on the rolling box are sensitive to cold - I shattered one a few days ago.
@lucasicilia72413 жыл бұрын
Good point which I haven’t picked upon, I have seen one of those big wheels shatter before. But as you say it’s a known fact that when plastic hits freezing temperature, it is more susceptible to breaking - which is certainly a con. 👍🏼

What did you use to get all the tools to stand upright on the the top box @4.30 Mins into the video, it looks very neat. I have a bit of a free for all as I end up pulling all the tools out to find what I want. Anyway, congrats - you done a great job with this.

Glad you enjoyed the video. On the top box there is a plastic cutout which comes with the box to hold some tools, where I have put my screwdrivers, pliers and other tools.

My issue with the Tstak is when I want something and it's at the bottom of the Stak. Other than that I like it.
@mickw1523 Жыл бұрын
It's a good setup if money is tight. But gets a bit annoying having to set the whole thing up every time I get it out the van vault. I use 2 drawers, one is single and one is double. A large box and a small box. I have 6 powertools and quite a few hand tools, so unfortunately i need more boxes to be able to carry it all. My previous setup was the stanley prostack rolling toolbox, which was good to start with, until the wheel shattered in the centre. So since i already had tstak boxes i went out and bout the trolley. One thing I noticed though, like in the video, you can not have that configuration of boxes and drawers on the trolley, as the black bar on the handle obstructs the box hinge lid and stop it from clipping onto the drawers below. Now I'm debating selling my trolley and some boxes and starting over with the toughsystem 2.0
@michaeltaylor4824 Жыл бұрын
The Tstak 2.0 have the metal pins (still the yellow plastic clips) They also do IP rated versions now. What is most interesting however, is someone has finally come up with an adaptor to link boxes from different manufacturers, so you could go all black, red, blue and hypothetically Festool grey…..
