I have to imagine they have an internal cooldown otherwise they could just hit infinite times when they make contact.

@@rekrn12345 This depends on whether its per ball or all balls combined. I mean yes, everything needs a hit delay, thats completely true, but I am not sure which of the 2 here is the case (I didnt look at it again)

@@DexTag The way it works now almost feels like a bug. It disincentivizes using certain combinations in a somewhat artificial and, in my opinion, unfair way. Past a certain amount, the only reason to get more projectiles on the balls is the expected increase in dps

Yeah, I think it's especially noticeable on bosses that are standing on the ring. They should be getting constantly shaved down, but it looks like there is a .3 second hit CD or something.

this has supposedly been fixed now. every ball has its own hitrate now that scales with rotation speed. would be nice if this was repeated t check if it was fixedm

tBalls count as summons. So you also get more balls with the incanter gloves not only the increased dmg. Also all Warlock summon-talents count to the balls

You talked about them a bit I think, but the "Invocator's Grasp" gloves are probably better than the strike gloves for scaling just the astronomer orbs. The hunter gloves give 30% additional proj, but the other gives +40% summon spawns, in addition to having the +20% summons damage. The summon spawn increase seems to work on the balls, because I always start with 4 when I have the gloves on.

Yes balls have the summon subtype but the gloves give +30% to everything including your base attack, so even on balls only run it's more optimal to run that, unless you plan to challenge yourself by playing only balls and no base attack.

@3:55 I went for max Crit Damage with as much Distance as I could cram in, on Shieldmaiden for the bonus Crit Damage. My orbs were slapping for 1415 damage but without ever doubling any of the orb distance, it just cannot cover much of the screen. That said, it still peaked just over 40k dps naturally, and 69k dps when I padded on the ghost wall. But the poor reach was painful, I barely managed lv100 since I just could not kill things on the edges of the screen fast enough for more enemies to spawn. I'm curious how well Dragon's Breath with no evolutions will do for me sometime.

I did a similar thing the other day but i did EXTENDED the range as far as possible and i could literally turn off auto attack and sit still in the middle and outer ring was touching the top and bottom of my screen killing stuff

I think the problem with the weapon is that it has a limit on how often it can hit per second. The rotation speed doesn't really matter.

how do you know when to grab a new scroll to upgrade 1 weapon type? is it at certain lvls or after a number of upgrades? i always get a new skill instead of being able to upgrade like that.

You need to get a ability to lvl 3 to get the first evolution and after that to lvl 6 to get the second evolution.

How does the blessings really work? I was wondering if it was possible to reduce what appears in the selection outside of using potions. like does completely removing fire dmg blessings from camp, makes it so that fire affinity never comes up?

No they are tied to items or weapons you pick. For example if you start or put a fire related item on or pick for example dragons breath fire affinity unlocks

Correct, first upgrade is lvl 3 and second lvl 6. Altough you need to do damage achievements for the abilities to unlock more upgrades
