With the nerfe of hp reg it gotten quite useless. Now life steal if the way to go. The best you can do is 2 hp/s and with life steal 10hp/s especially with fast hitting weapons.

They could do an item for maybe life regen happens twice as often and heals half as much, then you could make it a more consistent thing (if that doesnt exist already). And yea, this is pretty much Risk of Rain 2's corpsebloom

Rerolling the free melee damage from Defective Steroid at the start was a bit painful.

I dont like melee weapons so in my mind everything melee related is a lost cause, I did start with the knife for more potential bonuses health but I wanted to switch out of it ASAP Not disagreeing with you, just saying that I tend to lose rather quickly when I choose melee options, I am not used enough to them

What did the % next the melee symbol mean when he was checking if the shurikens deal melee damage mean? Is it like how much they benefit from the melee damage stat?

The symbol tells you what type of damage a weapon scales with, % is how much (so 50% means every 2 points increases the damage by 1) Shuriken scale with melee damage despite technically being ranged weapons
