Calmness is a product of not feeling any emotions. It’s not possible to not have emotions. And i’m not sure if you’ve even watched this series past season 2, but Dexter literally does voiceovers addressing how he is acting and feeling.

God this show is just a masterpiece 1-4 are phenomenal! I sometimes watch this show just to see dex with his family how good he was with them it made the show special to see Dexter with a family aspect. I think that’s truly where the decline of Dexter began is killing Rita it was an absolute legend season finale ending but with that ending destroyed a crucial part of crucial part of Dexter that we all loved to see.
