I passed my driving test on 15th of June, thank you for your videos Pin, and for the Ultimate Driving Course. You gave me tons of help. Passed first time with only 3 minor - and all of them was pulling on the left, the easiest thing.:D It went really well anyway. First time I have slightly hit the kerb, so the next two times I was overcautious and slowed down too much, and because I was staring in the little mirror on the side one, the steering was not great. So I had 1 minor on control and 2 on steering.

I can kind of relate to back when I was a learner driver. If I made one serious mistake I would just get nervous and lose all focus and composure. I even gave up after failing twice but after nearly 30 lessons I became a much better driver and passed on third try. Morale of the story practice makes perfect
@ferguszade55943 жыл бұрын
I had exactly the same experience. One of the driving instructors would give a running commentary on what I had done wrong and I found this made me more mistakes as I was too busy listening to him. Although driving examiners don't mind if you go the wrong way but some driving instructors do as they have a fixed time so get annoyed if you go the wrong way. A good example of panicking after that roundabout where 8 serious faults came up ,he started panicking after and making bad mistakes as being stressed out to do something wrong and lost his concentration on the road ! Body shaking , sweat coming , hands wet , heart rushing ))))) and that's where common faults are coming up due to stress ! My first test was 1 minor fault and 1 serious fault when minor fault was stalling and serious where one pedestrian suddenly stepped on the road from pavement to cross the road and he was close to our car so it caused me to fail ! And that panic what happened that time it follows to rest of the driving test So advice I do know how hard it is but try not to panic in any situations , if you do stress you always can ask to pull 9ver as it isn't a fault to ask for and take a breath that will help

Drove perfectly when practicing with my dad between lessons and it was like basic military training, with constant shouting and everything you did was wrong. And parents etc. all learned to drive a billion years ago when things were different - the instructor has more current knowledge and is actually trained to "instruct".

Unfortunately for this learner driver he was trying to run before we could walk when it comes to his driving you need more than 13 hours driving experience before you can go for your test however in time he will pass and I wish him all the best in doing so

In Australia you need 50 hours minimum before a test. Apparently there are talks of making it 100 hours 😳

It's weird to me (Canadian) that you say he should turn right to the left lane. At least here we are required to turn left to left lane then move over (or similarly right to right lane but our left turn is the same as your right). In any case you are expected to stay in y our lane.

For the roundabout at 11:22 if you were taking the 2nd exit would you signal left after going past the first exit or signal right on approach. I am unsure whether the 2nd exit is classed as straight or signal right for THIS roundabout
@samuelyirgalam87763 жыл бұрын
If the second exit is straight ahead then you signal left after passing the first exit. Right on approach is for 3rd exit

When overtaking a bus at a stop you should slow down and be prepared to stop,I have seen a boy run out from the front of a bus and get bowled by a car,it's not a pretty sight.
