@gamewizard756210 жыл бұрын
Medieaval Beabe None of the kids did their own songs. They did them initially so their mouth movements would be on film, but all the songs were overdubbed later. It was always intended that the kids voices would be dubbed over by adult voices. It's a good thing, too, because Scott Baio's voice was cracking at that time and he couldn't carry a tune in a bucket. The other kids made fun of his lousy singing.
@EditorOfSL10 жыл бұрын
I know that, but Jodie Foster is always credited on CDs as being the one who actually sang this!

The actors were kids, but the voices in the songs were those of adults, dubbed over. Search for "Bugsy Malone After they were famous" on KZbin and there is a series on how they made the movie. 5 parts, all together lasts about an hour, it's quite a good watch.
@junkfellow106310 жыл бұрын
Jodie Foster who played Tallulah had also been in a number of movies before this so she was fairly adept in acting and film making. Although, she did have to have a little 'training' for this scene to help with her movements, and they never film it one take so she had a lot of opportunities to fix herself when she went wrong and stuff.
@gamewizard756210 жыл бұрын
Jodie said in an interview much later that during this scene when she goes around acting flirty with the boys in the audience they were all really embarrassed so if you catch one of them blushing or averting his eyes from her, it was real embarrassment and not scripted.
