Just embrace your inner Sam Hill and send it. Great vid, cool to see a famous trail, in the dry, that is part of the EWS.

Agreed! Laying off the brakes is key to success on this one! Starting / stopping to film made things more complicated and harder to get into a rhythm for sure. But I won’t let that takeaway from the fact that trying to carry momentum on this trail is terrifying because stopping isn’t really in the cards if things go awry

Wow! Global Trail Guide outside Veneto. That's cool! Spectacular view. It reminds me Isola d'Elba and its 'magnetic' trails. Another Place that I really recommend is Monti Sibillini (Marche). Trails there where endorsed by the Legend of MTB: John Tomac himself, so I think you could visit them. See also Fiastra Lake, (Macerata), it's like caribbean in the mountains.

Long overdue and it certainly wasn’t by choice! “Global” is in the name for a reason 😉 So happy to be traveling again and hopeful that the trend will continue! Appreciate the recommendations - noted!

Hi, is this trail also starts at Nato base?

Nice!! Looks awesome! Hey... what's the best way to find more technical trails like this (or a bit easier) in Italy?? I've gotten some "trail" advice from some nice Italians on Facebook but... I must say... there seems to be something lost in translation or simply a completely different definition of what mountain biking is. The trails people recommend are usually dirt roads that go up and down a mountain. So, okay... biking on a mountain = mountain biking. But, I don't want that - no matter HOW incredible the views are. I'm not seeing much on MTB Project nor TrailForks. thanks for your help! and great riding!!

Look into mtb Facebook groups for your area there's some good ones near Padova/Vicenza. Probably gonna have to do some searching but there might be something

I’ve spent a lot of time exploring and finding nothing, coming to the same conclusions as you. A pro tip is to find a Strava segment you like, and then peep the Top 5 riders on the leaderboard and see where they ride. It’s safe to assume they ride a lot of similar terrain and know the best routes. Now that I have an awesome group “telling me where to ride next”, it’s eased my research significantly. Just need Italy to remain open 🤞🏼

Great video man, where did you order your full face GoPro mount?
@GlobalTrailGuide3 жыл бұрын
Thanks man! It’s the universal “Vented helmet” strap. I loop it through the vent holes in my chin bar. I recommend the actual GoPro strap - the cheap Chinese ones tend to break on first use

are you filming on 360 mode or Hero mode on this one?
@GlobalTrailGuide3 жыл бұрын
360. I’ve really come to love the Max and it’s becoming my go-to camera (in 360 mode).

@@GlobalTrailGuide cool i liked the concept. Can you still crop the 360 video to match 16:9 in post edit?
@GlobalTrailGuide3 жыл бұрын
Yup! One of the best things about 360 video. You can use the same video clip for vertical, horizontal, or square aspect ratios
