Even my niece got us confused at one time. The analogues do a great job of performing Beatles music without trying to imitate them. Dhani cannot help sounding like George.

Many have said this song was one of only 3 true rockers on the White Album - although a few others contend it's a 'minor' work. It's telling that Dhani chose Savoy Truffle to take the lead on here . ...also worth reminding that NO song every made it onto an album without 100% buy in from all members. Some obviously were contentious like Obladi Oblada but even that one eventually was 100%. Have no clue if Savoy Truffle had any down-voters but for me it is one of THE best they've ever done. Thought so when I first heard it on its release in 1968 and still think so now. My guess is Dhani rates it highly as well.

As an adopted person, i had no appreciation until i had my own children on how a 'spirit' lives generationally; I'd never seen it happen personally. But seeing and feeling Dhani's spirit reverberate thru the music and lyrics of his father makes me grateful for the beautiful aspects of their father my children still reflect. Some constructs are temporal, but I'm astounded at how the ethereal ones reveal themselves. Marriages don't last, lives don't last exactly, but soul carries forward.
