Johnny Colorado Depends on who you ask. After Grim Dawn I was seriously underwhelmed by PoE. I guess I can see why so many people like it, but the lack of class identity, the silly active skill system and a slew of minor annoyances just ruin the experience for me. It's kind of like Diablo II, but with all the annoying things in D2 still left in, some new annoying things added to the pile and some nifty stuff to try to make it addictive in spite of its shortcomings. But it's free, so try it out. It'll cost you nothing but time.

+MrLlamaSC fyi, shank has a higher drop table and more exp than eldritch and is over all faster to farm. Conversion also slows down farming/lowers exp per hour so it shouldnt be used. Points should instead go into shadow and get an act 2 nm merc next time. it gives you two blockers, making it harder to die(what you are basically trying to use conversion for) offers more damage and actually allows you some "control". Also this isnt coming out of my ass i promise, myself and my father both have a number of top 10 (overall) finishes in HCL. And most ladders were in top 5 in USWEST up until we stopped playing, we mained assassins for mfing/initial generation because they hit like a sorc and tank like a barb :P Can load em with mf and still have great survival and damage.. so yeah ive probably had more 95+ sins than just about any other player in the game aside from my dad. i didnt watch the whole run because its late as shit, but that is certainly one thing that can save you some time on your next attempt, and make it less likely that you die. Oh side thought-make sure you do full install/nocd install of the game, this prevents any animations(like shanks death animation) from slowing the game down or potentially dying when it tries to spin up the cdrom. Another side note- run TP scrolls from your belt, it removes the "animation" to cast it, making it faster AND safer for HC play, and since you are speedrunning faster is always better anyway, so its win/win. Anyway i may come back and watch the whole thing and throw out some more advice if you want it. There is basically nothing about this game i dont know off the top of my head(i had a problem ok? :P)

Like a zeal/smite/hammer WR run instead of just op hammers, same like fire/light/cold sorc runs since they all have to be played a little different because of immunities? melee druids (bear or wolf) vs caster WR runs? Corpse explosion is so underrated skill. I do highly recommend 3-4 Lightning Sentries + 1 Death Sentry. Works very good at the throne! Against main bosses just use 4-5 Lighting Sentries.

Please, I have a question. Does Life steal work with Venom? Or with poison damage in general? I want to make an Assassin, that uses 2 claws, Dragon Claw + Claw Mastery, and I want to take Venom against P.I.'s, and I want to Blood craft items for Life Steal, will the life steal work with the Venom skill? Wouldn't charged sentry kill bosses faster? They always do when I am playing. The multiple bolts also work better vs high res than the single bolts from lightning sentry.

Played D2 from begining till end patches. Had all the uniques without dupes or cloning. Had a solid reputation in the softcore community (never played HC due booz abduction xD). Organised Cow lvl runs at midnight hours but due your run at SGDQ i started playing again now. Got 3 chars lvl 20+ in less than a week. I'm a father now.. i'm sorry for my 3 kids not spending 'playtime' with them but hey the beers taste more sweet now killing 8bit mobs or cows :D

+armagetroid attack speed is what is used for trap casting speed, so a dagger makes sense here! Other tips? Get Burst of speed to level 5, fire traps are awesome, no need to re-spec, use act 3 merc for grand vizier and the first wave of Baal. :D
