Diagnose and Identify Faulty Wheel Speed Sensor and ESC Module: 2011 KIA Sorento | PART 2

In most cases replacing a faulty speed sensor will do the trick in clearing codes on the dashboard.
However, other components can wear and break down causing DTCs (Diagnostic Trouble Codes) to remain illuminated. If you have an older vehicle it's possible that your ESC (Electronic Stability Control Module) can go out of whack.
This will cause bigger problems as the ESC not only affects the wheel sensors, they can contribute to higher fuel consumption and ABS to become disabled.

you got crazy about those two failure happened at the same time causing same symptom.. i have same problem for door lock actuator. it works with a micro tag switch . but both are notorious of being broken parts. once one of them replaced and still stayed no working. oh gosh! the actuator i bought had defected one.... blah blah.. Anyway, it is not easy to diagnose malfuction if the connected parts has broken ay the same time. Good job

Yessir! Crazy I did go for a moment. It is a long story as well. I haven't had to deal with a door lock actuator, but I can imagine some head scratching as well. This job wasn't easy to figure out but after a good amount expletives and doing junkyard runs, the schematics led me to the solution.

@@AutomotiveForBeginners haha "Junk yard back and forth" is exactly same as my case.. and finally i decided to buy new one ended with defected one from Rockauto and still waiting for the replacement.. but you did a good job!!!
