Diagnosing the Root Cause of Sciatica (2 Clinical Cases)

Mine is def structural. Wish I had seen this a few weeks ago. Very informative. Unintentionally, I was doing figure 4 exercises while watching TV at night. Now I can't do those at all on my bad leg.

I believe that scar tissue have formed over my hip scar from fractured hip surgery 3 years ago. My knee and sometimes groin area, started to hurt . As soon as I massage my hip area, pain ould go away. The massage was a recent revelation. My right leg started to hurt due to overcompensating, i.e. avoiding putting weight on left leg. Will continue to massage to see if I can soften scar tissue. I wish I had known about massaging area rught after surgery!

I have no pain walking on a flat surface. As soon as I walk on an incline, the pain begins from my R buttocks, down the back of my leg, instantly. The pain continues until I am off my feet. I live in the middle of a hill, and working outside is extremely painful. Physical therapy did nothing, nor did exercises for sciatica. My quality of life has diminished, insurance company denied the MRI request from my Dr, who believes it is a bulging disk. I'm 67, healthy and have always been active. I fight through the pain with frequent stops because I refuse to become a couch potato. Hardest part is not knowing what is actually wrong.
