@@LordAurix my fight against Dialga was snacking on a grim seed i found in the dungeon, preparing a focus punch and literally onehitting the god of time with a 1,3k damage crit. Before that, i didn't even know that damage numbers in mystery dungeon can be red if they re high enough...

I did a lot of grinding because I constantly got beaten in easier dungeons, basically my partner warning me that we weren't going to return for a terribly long time got me scared aaaand I still almost lost to Dialga. I am however very proud of finishing this game I was about 11 years old and this is by far the most emotional game I've grown attached to. To this day the story makes me sob

Might be an unpopular opinion, but I feel like the themes of Primal dialga and Arceus should be swapped, like they would work with the other pokemon so well. P Dialga's theme has holy and sacred vibes, and Arceus's theme has evil, horror vibes.

This fight is a nightmare for your first play through. Once you figure out agility, smokescreen, stun/sleep seed, every boss in the game is doomed. Throw a violent seed on both you and your partner while dialga is stunned and it suddenly it's cake. It works 80% of the time. If the seed misses, then it is almost a fair fight if not for the 15 reviver seeds you packed. After multiple play throughs I figured all of this out. I remember losing a lot to wigglytuff, dialga and darkrai on my earlier play throughs.

It's going to be different in the remakes because even rayquaza can be exploited like this in RT but they gave it more bulk and a desperation phase, so it's an actual boss fight than it was back then.
