I had to fight that fight when they were way out of tune. Always a good help to be able to watch a video of it Scottie. 💪🏼

I appreciate you watching brother. That 38-5 Putz is the greatest piece of concrete pumping equipment which I have ever laid my hands upon. Enjoy it every day my man!

Scott can you explain the functions of the remotes on a bigger pump
@canadianconcretepumper19792 жыл бұрын
Aside from having a 5th boom section (typically operated via a twist function on the left hand joystick), they’re essentially identical to the remotes which are used for smaller booms. That being said, the remote shown in this photo is an older generation HBC unit, we do have various levels of revised versions of this remote on some of our newer rigs. Next time I’m out on one of them I’ll do a quick walk through.

I tuned mine so I can full toggle extending and retracting the boom in z keeping the hose level (4 stage putz) how come you hit the e stop on your remote remote much I try not to use e stops unecessarily incase they wear out
@canadianconcretepumper19792 жыл бұрын
To my knowledge the e-stop must be used in order to save the settings (as mentioned in the video, perhaps just powering the remote off using the toggle switch would achieve the same thing). Agreed however, for normal powering on/off of the remote control, we just use the toggle switch.

Where can I get one of those batteries cheers

Most Putzmeister parts retailers should have them. I’m sure it could also be ordered directly from the Putzmeister as well.

I don't have the teaching battery, can you do a video without the teaching battery using the user defined mode, thanks.

ive been trying my best to get out 47-5 dialed, its the ergo 2 system (with the color screen) so I know thats a totally different beast. I'm not the best boom operator in the world, hope to be some day, but boy that thing makes it look like its my first time with the remote strapped to my waist
@canadianconcretepumper19792 жыл бұрын
I believe those ones can only be tuned in the “user defined” mode. From what I recall, rabbit/turtle booms speeds can only be adjusted via plugging in a laptop and using the factory software. (my experience with ergo 2.0 is admittedly minimal however).
@canadianconcretepumper19792 жыл бұрын
Definitely the bigger the boom the more labour intensive it can be to get done tuned. They have a tendency to amplify our errors as operators 😂
@jigglychunkdavid2 жыл бұрын
The ergo 2 was definitely a setback for the user.
@canadianconcretepumper19792 жыл бұрын
@@jigglychunkdavid They appear to have more than made up for it with the new Ergo 3.0 (at least from what I've seen of it so far).
